can i use F2RWRS drivers without official F1RWRS-license in the endurance?
Scuderia Alitalia offers Alessandro Lucarelli as endurance driver in car 2.
Well, i demand the usual price (thus creating my livery)

Erm, I think I'll pass this time

Well, I'm using Martin McFry who, to date, has only had a single entry in a non-championship F3RWRS race (although he will have had on or two races at the tail end of this season of F1RWRS season, thereby just bypassing this rule!).

You cheeky bugger! I thought you might try that!
I was initially considering that pairing myself, but I wanted Hawkin to have the opportunity to share a ride with his mentor for what will likely be the only time in his career, so I think I'll stick with that for the time being. Alternatively, if you would like to propose an alternative teammate other than Christopherson, I'd be more than willing to consider it!
Which reminds me, would Christopherson be eligible for the F2RWRS at any point next year?

Wouldn't a Kay Lon / Daniel Melrose team-up be more than hilarious?

Based on F1RWRS results alone, he would have been eligible for the F2RWRS... if it wasn't for the fact he was a seasoned veteran in F1
Bugger...I was planning on giving him a 'last hurrah' with some outings in the series, because there'll almost certainly be no place for him at the team in 2016 should Hawkin do well in the F2RWRS in 2015. I'll see if I can work something else out then, because I hate to see him just go to waste because he's had a bit of a crap half-season with Foxdale.

Well Jones has always regretted ditching Lon following 'Sexgate', so I suppose this could be a good chance to straighten things out as some form of apology to Lon! Melrose, whaddaya think?

Earlier today, Jones Racing announced that former employee Kay Lon will be making a one-off return to the team for the Luxembourg Grand Prix at the Nurburgring at the end of the year alongside Daniel Melrose. While the two have never publicly liked each other, the former F1 champ has told Autosport's Ed Straw earlier today he has a lot of respect for the German.
"As much as I don't like him for his personality, I have a lot of respect for Kay Lon as a driver and he really deserves a good car." Said Melrose." In a way, he reminds me of myself in my first few years of Formula One as we both debuted at the same age (18) and, being as young and naive as we were, all we knew was to simply push the car to the absolute limit, and occasionally over it. I also remember that I used to have a lot of anger management issues and a whole host of other things in my early career but over the years I guess I've mellowed out off the track and as a result I've been able to enjoy my driving a lot more whilst still being just as a quick as ever. If Kay can do the same thing then I see him as one of the real stars of the future. I mean, he's still very young by most people's standards and has time on his side but, if he doesn't find a way to control his issues off the track, then that time could start running out very quickly."
In other news, Melrose has been seen more and more often with a mystery woman around the paddock and in the Jones Racing garage but nobody has been able to quite figure out what all of that means as of yet.

Autosport wrote:Castrol Jones Racing signs Kay Lon for Nurburgring
In a shock announcement earlier today, Sammy Jones has sensationally re-hired Kay Lon for a one-off appearance in his Castrol Jones Racing team at the non-championship Luxembourg Grand Prix, which will be held at the Nurburgring at the end of the year. Jones has previously had a somewhat strained relationship with Lon ever since he dramatically fired the German from his team in the wake of alleged charges of sexual assault against young female Chinese drivers following the 2013 F1RWRS Chinese Grand Prix. Lon had taken his first ever career win with the team earlier that year, and was enjoying a highly successful follow-up to his 2012 season where he narrowly missed out on the F1RWRS championship with the Kahama team, ending up in third place overall. Since his firing, Lon has driven for the Sunshine Infiniti team, which initially brought good results in the final races of 2013, but in 2014 Lon has struggled greatly with car unreliability and uncharacteristic driver errors, and has consequently been overshadowed by teammate Shinobu Katayama. With Sunshine known to be sold to the DPT group for the 2015 season, it's unknown who exactly Lon will drive for as his place is widely tipped to be taken by Portuguese driver Daniel Martins, currently at ArrowTech. Teams known to have an interest in the German include Mitie Aviation Racing who have publicly declared their intent to try and lure Lon to the fledgling British team as they plan a greater assault out of pre-qualifying next year. For now however, it appears Lon is content to return to his former employer for a chance to show the F1RWRS paddock that he still retains all of his driving ability and talent. Castrol Jones Racing boss Sammy Jones told Autosport about Lon's signing,
"Yeah I'm delighted to be able to link up with Kay again. We ended on less than amicable terms in 2013, and I deeply regret the decision I took following the Chinese GP, because Kay was doing a superb job for us, and is a huge talent. The deal is only for the one race, where he'll share the car with Daniel [Melrose], whilst I take the other car alongside Terry [Hawkin]. With this combination of drivers, I feel we must have one of the strongest line-ups on the grid, and we're hoping that Kay can rekindle the magic he brought to the team in 2013 to help us seal a great result in what looks like becoming an F1RWRS classic. I would have liked to be able to place Jack [Christopherson] somewhere in the team, but Daniel requested a change of plan, and Kay was more than willing to step up to the plate, which I greatly appreciate. I will no doubt ensure that Jack runs at the Budweiser 800 in our third car though, and I would love to be able to fit him into our racing plans for 2015 and pay him back for the superb work he's done this past year in testing and refining our racing cars, particularly the CJR-103, which he has turned into a race-winning machine. As of yet though, I can't see where this will be, but I will definitely do my utmost to ensure he is represented in some way next year.

That half-season with Foxdale - Christopherson was qualifying on average 10 places behind Douglas Mann (if my memory of my calculations are right) and he did score 0 points compared to Douglas's total of 5 points from two different races. What else was Pippa Mann going to choose to do?

I don't want to promise anything, but given the fact that Micko Glotch's contract has been dissolved, capable (yes, his results were not good, but he should have a rather low random grip range) drivers for lower teams are hard to come by and I am not sure whether I have to have a pay driver or not, Tropico GP might consider hiring Jack Christopherson for 2015.

It's not public knowledge in RWRS yet, but Darren Older Jr is about to be sacked by Scuderia Alitalia at the end of the season so you can have that useless muppet back

Before I forget, I'd like to point out right now that in all likelihood the maximum number of cars that'll be allowed to start the Bud World 800 will be 38.

That the Nurburgring race or the Indy race?
Acuri racing will be unable to take part in any of the two races due to financial reasons. As much as Acuri would like to partake in the events, all the resources will need to be put in developing the 2015 car.
ArrowTech is currently undecided.

On the question, it is for Indy race.
FYI, (for the underline part) keep in mind that from next year, YOU MAY HAVE ONE TEAM ONLY. You have option to merge Acuri and ArrowTech, like TMLW did with Holden and GRM.

Which means Ron Mignolet is looking for a seat in the Nüburgring-enduro! as it seems i can't get in there. (i'm interested in entering, if the organisation decides to replace the regular teams not showing up) In fact, that makes Van Dycke available to, if somebody can handle having him in his team... Mignolet will join Donkervoort for the Indy race, and a third car for Lamberigts might be possible.

That is the Indy one, the Nürburgring will stick with it's 56 drivers limit.
www.sportschau.de wrote:Lon: "A Happy Reunion"
After the shocking revelation that Castrol Jones Racing allowed Kay Lon to rejoin them for the Nürburgring endurance race, the latter gave an interview to an American motor sport website. In said interview he described how the deal came about:
"Well, Bob [Lon's former and Melrose's current racing engineer] and I had lunch shortly after arriving in Licassol where he told me about Daniel not wishing to have Christopherson as his partner for Nürburgring. He jested that I could be his partner, and as it happens with this kind of jest, we got deeper into it and before we knew it, Sammy was on the table and we were negotiating ... about what to have as dessert, that is. Especially since I didn't really needed a wage, we were quick to agree on my "comeback". Lon talked about being happy going back to his old team, if only for one race, since he claims to have "good relations" with a number of employees, claiming the race will be "a happy reunion".
When asked about his contract situation with Sunshine, Lon stated that there was no problem since a clause in his contract says that it only counts for championship races and that Lon is allowed to join other teams for non-championship races or not participate in them at all. "While the clause's main purpose was me not having to drive in Indianapolis, it proved handy here too," Lon explained.
Another topic was his relationship to Sammy Jones and Daniel Melrose. "Well, Sammy and I never really had problems even after he kicked me out of the team," Lon affirmed. "Of course, I disagree with his choice to fire me. Find me a driver that agrees with him being fired and I will show a spineless worm," he said. Even about his partner Melrose he had positive words: "He's a four-time F1 world champion, he's the Kanada-King - saying he's inept behind the wheel is not only petty but simply wrong. Even if all those accolades weren't there, he would still earn my respect by not wanting to team up with this parasite Jack Christopherson."
