Dagnall is looking for a Junior Team for the 2014 season, it could be one of those or Virgin Intercorse, given that Kostas doesn´t appear. But won´t make a choice until the end of the season.

As for Calinetic, Prospec and CR, if nobody wants them maybe they should say goodbye.

Anyways I might be willing to take over one of your teams but I'll need to know their current financial situation, end of season financial position, equipment, driver stats and price of each of your teams. So get to work Mr Davies. :P

Current financial situation:
Hmm, let's see, I think Prospec has sod all, but Calinetic and CR should have just gotten their pay driver pay-outs.

End of season financial situation:
Why does that matter?

Equipment:
Prospec is all Lambo, CR is Life, and Calinetic is Zakspeed-Ford HB I.

Driver stats:
Aerond? Help?

Price:
Work it out yourself.

I have one question. One does not have to drive in the team which he owns, doesn't he?

Tropico announce F1RWRS bid

The island republic Tropico, known for its delicious bananas, has announced to take a spot in the F1RWRS with a national team. The smallest recognized nation in the world (187 inhabitants) has been led by a mysterious figure only known as El Presidente for the last 34 years.

"Yes, indeed. The glorious Presidente was looking to buy a F1RWRS team. Talks have already been done and it is only a matter of time until we can announce the glorious birth of Tropico Grand Prix.", a speaker of the government said to the press a few days ago.

Apparentely, El Presidente is planning on leaving the management of the team to a council of German motorsport experts.

tl;dr - I will buy CR and rename it Tropico Grand Prix.

While we are at it: hey, SuperAguri, we need to get on with the trial lest we won't finish it within this season.

However on a more positive note it's great to have got ourselves out of pre-qualifying for the second half of the season, and I dare say we almost certainly won't be faced with it for the 2014 season either. Poor old McAllister is virtually guaranteed to stay there and not get anywhere near us on the race weekend anymore, and he can sit there and stuff his face with waffles for all I care, getting fat and lazy in his old age, and besides he should have realised that Castrol Jones Racing is a professional organisation that employs it's own range of gourmet chefs who serve up some of the finest food in the paddock! So there!

After the current owners of the Prospec team announced that they may be selling out at the end of 2013, current driver Dave Simpson has announced that he will buy the Prospec team, but only if there are no other potential buyers. Simpson was quoted as saying that he's already co-owned a team and struggled with racing (the 2012 season where he only scored twice and failed to qualify a number of times) and does not want to repeat that if he purchases Prospec. He also thinks that his former teammate, Daniel Melrose has struggled since buying the former JLD Motorsport team.
Autosport can confirm that there are already a number of potential buyers for Prospec, including Chris Dagnall and Automobilli Lamborghini.

SOTL would like to spend their remaining 100 credits on qualifying performance, split 50/50 between the two drivers. Maybe this time around, we can actually get the cars out of the depths where they have been mired all season.

RACE

A very exciting race, with things happening from the start to the end!
We got great starts by Nathan Scott (climbing to 4th) and Shizuka (to 7th), with Watkinson doing badly and Plaza incredible as well.

Lap 1:
Image

On lap 2 Nathan Scott car failed so he scored the first retirement. Quickly, the groups in the top 10 define: Fleet and McFaste. Lon, Jones and Plaza fight for 3rd, and Shizuka, Watkinson, Al Faisal and Mann for 6th. On lap 4 Plaza passes Jones for 4th, and two laps later Watkinson passes Shizuka for 6th. Then Shizuka loses to Al Faisal as well. On lap 10 Plaza starts pressing Lon...

Image

... and he passes him one lap later. Watkinson has climbed and passes Jones on lap 15 and we settle into a relative set of dull laps before the first round of pits for the two stoppers. Watkinson is the first man to pit on lap 22, Plaza stops a lap later and he loses position to the HRT. McFaste stops too but he can get ahead of Fleet when the Foxdale driver stops. Shizuka, Mann and both Jones go for one. Meanwhile, Watkinson, on fresh tyres, passes Shizuka, while Katayama retires. McFaste is even better and passes Lon and Fleet in an incredible double move! Fleet takes and extra lap to get rid of the Jones and loses 4 secs in the process.

Image

Meanwhile, Mann loses positions and falls to the bottom of the top 10. Watkinson soon passes Jones for 4th and when Lon pits, he´s clean to go for the podium. Kay Lon passes his teammate at the stop and gains unexpectedly one position! Jones passes Mann too (who hasn´t stopped), but doesn´t have to bother with Shizuka as the Japanese retires when coming out of the pits... Lon passes Mann easily as well and when the Foxdale driver pit he falls to 15th.

Image

We get another set of quiet laps until lap 45 when Watkinson stops for the 2nd time and keeps position ahead of Jones! Then McFaste pits three laps later and is out on the spot with a suspension failure! Fleet pits and keeps comfortably the lead, and a festival of retirements start with Melrose, Mann and Hiang Hao out in the space of 2 laps. Watkinson also spins and loses loads of time and he´s back 7th behind Al Faisal. Meanwhile, Plaza passes Lon for 4th, and when Hiang Hao retires goes after Jones, passing him on lap 58 for 2nd. Is not FAT´s day as Al Faisal also suffers a suspension failure on lap 60.

Image

Watkinson starts to recover and passes Lon for 4th after having recovered 13 seconds. Then, on lap 65, 6 to the end, Ben Fleet car suddenly stops and the first Foxdale win of the season turns into smoke! Plaza gets the lead, and after an incredible effort, Watkinson reaches Jones, but by the time he´s overcooked the tyres and has no chance of passing him for 2nd... which would have turn into first as Jesus Plaza´s ARC fails at the last lap!! Kay Lon also retires on last lap, handling the podium place to an anonymous Mark Dagnall.

Quite simply, we weren´t fast enough, but we have some relief as our main rivals for the title didn´t do that well. It´s not I´m writing off Foxdale, they have the fastest car, but they have to stop hosting those barbecue parties at their cars if they want to beat us.
