Oops, forgot to confirm that Simpson would agree to run in the 2nd MRT this weekend.

Jones Racing's Daniel Melrose is looking increasingly likely to sign the contract extension of Jones Racing in 2015, according to the mystery woman he's been hanging around with in the paddock, whose turned out to be his new manager. She was quoted as saying "Daniel is incredibly happy at Jones Racing and while he's feeling at home in the equipment he's been given, he admits that the championship is a long shot, even if he's still in mathematical contention. He's just waiting for Sammy to give him the contract for next year and he'll sign it in a heartbeat."
In other news, the MRT engine workshop in Cologne is looking to negotiate with the F1RWRS Commission with supplying customer engines to another team in the F1RWRS next year, rumoured to be the new Simpson Motorsport effort. While the exact details of the deal are yet to be confirmed, it looks likely that the engine MRT would supply Simpson should the deal go ahead would be the new naturally aspirated BMW P90, rather than the BMW P87 MRT is reportedly still trying to get approved for F1RWRS use next year.

Rumours out of Scotland are starting to float around that local hero and former F1 World Champion Nathan McKane is looking to join the plethora of former F1 legends to make the jump to the F1RWRS, which is now reportedly the most popular racing series in the world. McKane initially looked at taking the DGNineering seat alongside defending champion Mark Dagnall when Nathan Scott was sacked after the Mexican Grand Prix but Ben Fleet beat him to the drive. Now, with the silly season in full swing, McKane is allegedly looking at taking one of the ArrowTech seats for next year as Daniel Martins' position in the team looks increasingly precarious. Neither McKane or ArrowTech boss The Fox were available for comment.
Mitie decrease stake in team.
After the team failed again to pre-qualify this weekend, News has come through that the Mitie Aviation company have decreased their percentage within the team to only 49%, dropping down from the previous 80%. The majority shareholder is now Mr.Alexander himself, as has hinted at a possible takeover of the team from a new sponsor. "Its true that Mitie have relinquished some of their shares within the team, named after the company themselves", explained Mr.Alexander. "I would like to confirm to anyone interested in buying a stake in the team this will not happen for the forseeable future. With myself as the main shareholder, I will continue to run the team in the normal way. We are now looking of course for a main sponsor for next year, but the team itself will not be sold to anyone else."
With contract talks with controversial Kay Lon Now in advanced talks, no news as of yet as to what happens with Mitie's current driver line-up, Matthias Valsattis and David Neuberg. Rumours though indicate that Neuberg is the more likely driver to stay, thanks in no part to his Drubnik sponsorship. "Once we reach a conclusion with Mr Lon we will start to finalize our line-up for 2015", said Mr.Alexander. "At this moment in time, both drivers have been re-assured they will play some part in out future."

The local resources strike again as we now know the top three candidate for the second ArrowTech seat. One of them is the F2RWRS star Rosco Vantini, who claimed pole position for the Czech Grand Prix, and winner of the Hungarian Grand Prix. Another candidate is Tropico driver Alberto Cara, who has already been backed by Prince Falik and has won twice and earned pole position a few times. A third candidate is former F1RWRS Champion Nathanael Spencer, who was recently sacked and replaced at MRT. The Fox was unavailable to comment in any situation, but his secretary did say that he is launching an investigation on his brother, known as "The Mouse," on allegations that he accidentally leaked the information regarding the second seat to the press. The Mouse was also unavailable to comment.

In a recent article on his blog, Nathan McKane denied rumours that the former F1 World Champion will be making the jump to F1RWRS to 2015. The Scot has taken a two year sabbatical after winning two championships in his three year career in F1 to look at the state of motorsports and plan out his future in the sport.
"There is alot of options out there, it doesn't surprise me with the publicity in that series (F1RWRS) that rumours based on little fact will be made."
It was confirmed by Nathan on his blog last month that he was testing the new regulation GT1 cars for the revival of the class in 2015, but never confirmed if he would manage or drive a car in the series.
Chris Dagnall in the hunt for 2nd driver
After the recent announcement by MRT on Rhys Davies being their 2nd driver for 2015 all the heads are turning now into Chris Dagnall, as he's yet to comment on who'll team up with Mark Dagnall in 2015. It's known that Dagnall has a preference for in-house drivers, but right now he only has Fredo Mestolio and Hansuke Shioya as options. The japanese driver is yet to make his F1RWRS debut so a DGN drive next year is unlikely to happen. Meanwhile, Fredo Mestolio has been pretty irregular, combining stellar efforts like qualifying the Trueba at Brazil or driving the ARC in podium places at Norisring with equally embarrasing times like the DNQ at Brands Hatch and Spa.
Another driver linked up to the seat is Ashley Watkinson, who's currently without a drive after being sacked from HRT earlier this year, while David Neuberg is believed to have impressed the 1991 world champion and may try to convince Mr. Alexander to release him. More drivers could be in the race for the DGN seat so watch this space (this basically means that I'm open to offers

DGNgineering to test Hansuke Shioya before season ends?
Chris Dagnall has declared today before Qualifying at the Mediterranean GP that he could give Hansuke Shioya his F1RWRS debut before the season ends. "Yeah, it could happen, but we´ll only evaluate that option if the drivers championship is secured before the end of the season. It would definitely be great to see a Japanese driver debut at his home GP, in front of his sponsors and his fans. Even if he doesn´t get the drive he´ll be with us at the Chinese and Japanese GP weekends to learn how the team works through the weekend, that will be a good experience to him."
Korg, which is sponsoring DGN this season, could be well interested in this option to happen, although it´s not clear if Shioya will get his drive on merit or if he´ll make use of personal sponsorship to get into the car.
