Just a thought, but would Laguna Seca be possible for a F1 race? The corkscrew would seemingly be too narrow for F1 cars, do you think?

I believe the main problem with Laguna Seca is that it wouldn't meet the minimum track length required for an F1 event

It does meet the minimum track length but only just at 3.6km.

I'd be more concerned with the bottom of the corkscrew tearing the noses off the cars tbh.

If Riccardo Zonta can take a Toyota F1 car through the corkscrew with no real issue, so can anyone else

IIRC, I think that was before they had to have the front wings lower to the track surface.
