It's F1 Deprivation for sure, if we're going on about who has the most posts...

Plus, the forum facts are mostly about posts or landmarks of posts or accounts, so we might argue that we are keeping it marginally inside the topic... Which is absolutely shameful because we should be back to the off topicness that is so characteristic.

F1 Deprivation has got that bad, we can't even go fully off topic.

even talking about myself isn't totally off-topic, because i'm part of the thread

now, frow a very philosophical point of view, nothing is fully off-topic, and in a way, nothing is fully on-topic either.

I suspect this thread was created for the sole purpose of having some extra space to go off-topic

Possibly. By then, Bernie will have been replaced by the Grand Nagus.

Given the nature of the Ferengi it is Bernie who will replace Grand Nagus.

i seemed to have challenged people to go as off-topic as possible.

It's so easy, just be philosophical. Or is it, maybe it's all just an illusion and we aren't really posting on this forum, but are we fictional characters ourselves? :D

With the demise of the one-word-only thread, how is eurobrun going to keep up his rate of posting? :P

33 users have breached the 1000th post mark, with P_Friesacher and fjackdaw the closest users to join that total, although I'd expect AdrianSutil and dinizintheoven to reach 1000 posts before those two, based on activity...

I'm heading towards 6000 posts but after that, the activity from both myself and TMLW will probably slow dramatically as we've just started school (And I've already ruined one of my new shirts in the process  )

I must now make a post to see how many I've got...

...909! I had no idea it was that many. I think the Word Association Thread may have helped, not that I'd ever dream of abusing it for post count purposes... no, that's what all the F1RMGP threads are for. Heh.

Being able to do something or threatening to and not doing it is what real power is all about. But since in this case you influence 0 lives with your decision I will only congratulate you on this devoid attempt. Nevertheless you are getting close! ;)

Almost check mate. Almost... Thing is that I was referring to the actual consequences of the execution of said threat and not the part of actually making it.

These are dark times we live in! ;)

'Over 9000?' is a term used in an exaggerated sense to describe a large amount of something, for example:

Person A: "How many people turned up to the gig last night?"
Person B: "Like, over 9000!!"

It's basically another way of using the words 'millions' or 'tons' or other exaggerated terms.

Wow, knowing you and I are a similar age, that surprises me. I thought those shows were a phenomenon of the late-1990s/21st century...

EDIT: oh wait, you said teenage years. So that still fits in with late 1990s etc...
