You missed the bit where the team name was an entire list of items from a Chinese takeaway menu.

Will accept Tojo with the pairing of Kazuki Nakajima, 2012 Formula Nippon Champion and former F1 driver/F1 reject (I don't think he'll be out of racing by the time this rolls around although he may be in Japanese GT racing or Indy Car).
The question is will Tojo be racing for the Japanese #1 team or with mine.

Since the #1 Japanese team is full already, I earmarked "deal approved" on that. :)

Good! The Japanese teams are completed.

That depends which James Davies you're offering the drive to... :P

I assume you mean F1RWRS James Davies, in which case he gladly accepts. F1RGP2C James Davies is still none too pleased with McFry.

That would also open the door to swap James Davies for the James Davies that is actually pretty good.

I'm waiting for whomever owns the Germany 2 team to pick Vettel and Nico Rosberg/Glock/Michael/Heidfeld/Bernd Schneider/Krautmeir. Pick any one of those guys (except Schneider) and they have a good chance at the title.

I'm incredibly sorry to be pedantic, but I found a couple of errors on the wiki regarding a pair of my drivers.

a) It's Jantscher, not Janschter...

b) José Alvarez's son carries his mother's surname Torrente too.

Again, apologies for my OCD-ness...it's just that all my drivers have wiki pages so I guess I wanted to remove the red names. As you were, folks :)

Glad you asked. Here is how the logistics of the series will work.

Format
Points System
The points system will be 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, plus one point for fastest lap and pole position. I was debating between this and the current F1 points system, but this is easier to add in my head, so I chose this one.

Drivers' Cup
Although the series is an ostensibly national affair, drivers can still compete in the individual cup. Each division will have its own separate Drivers' Cup. WInning the division is a moot point though, as placing highly in the divisional round only helps you to the official "F1RNC Final" rounds. After seven rounds, the best driver wins the Drivers' Cup. The number of drivers that will make the Final Round is 28. It is conceivable that a division winner may not even qualify for the next round, depending on how the rest of their nation's drivers perform, but because I am trying to make this a "team effort". This does create a large bias towards four-car teams, but a good two-car team should be able to hold their own.

Nations' Cup
However, the Drivers' Cup is most definitely secondary to the Nations' Cup. The original plan was to just take the three best teams from the divisions, but because I expanded the nation base and allowed two-car teams, I have tweaked it slightly. For starters, all the nations will be thrown onto one gigantic leaderboard, rather than in separate divisional standings. The Top 14 teams will make the Final by placing at the top of this leaderboard. Four-car teams will be narrowed down to their top two drivers (depending on how they competed). The teams will all compete for the F1 Rejects International Trophy.

As you can see, this is not a perfect system. My main problem is that only 25% of the 112 drivers will be able to compete in the Finals. I could institute some sort of pre-qualifying system for the Finals and increase the total entrants to 40, but that might allow a disproportionate amount of nations into the next round, which some people might not like. Basically, it boils down to this: Do you want more nations in the Grand Final at the risk of a pre-qualifying lottery? Feedback would be appreciated.

Well, it's called The Finals for a reason. Therefore, Tropico would rather prefer the first proposal of the top 14 teams making it through to the final.

May I suggest Jorg Scrattenheim for Germany 2. He may be a bit old but he still wants to see how different modern single seaters to race. Battani accepts his offer to race and so does Prince Walik, who seens to have lost none of his ego over the years and seems to be even richer tham before.

Got my permission for the use of both fictional Pippa Mann (assuming you mean fictional, not real-life, Pippa Mann) and for Martin McFry. This therefore means, unless I missed something, that of my fictional drivers, only Ben Fleet is not taking part...

And with that, all signups are closed. There will be no test sessions, so the first races of the four divisions will begin in earnest. Also, if you want to submit a team livery (nation-themed, of course), feel free to use the templates from the F1RWRS and post them. User-designed liveries are not mandatory and I can design some if needed. I will try to put as much video coverage as I have time to edit.

Tristan, please make the Italia 2 team car blue all over with 'ITALIA' written in white on the sidepods.
