Well putting VDG and Pasta next to each other on the grid was always going to end badly.

Which was suprising. i think he's only made a start good enough to hold position a few times in the last year, and only made positions a handful of times in his whole career.

Chilton knocked maldonado into the barrier, Bianchi hit the barrier because of that.
Re: The 2013 Magical Monaco Grand Prix Thread
red flag the reverend getting assaulted by a marussia and the other then hitting the soft barrier
Re: The 2013 Magical Monaco Grand Prix Thread
Oh dear... Red flag now. About Alonso. I think it he shouldn't relinquish the position though.
Colin Kolles on F111, 2011 HRT challenger: The car doesn't look too bad; it looks like a modern F1 car.
Re: The 2013 Magical Monaco Grand Prix Thread
100% Chilton's fault.

Has a red flag robbed us of a dramatic finish to the race for the second year running?

What on earth was Chilton doing there? If Johnny Cecotto had done that he would have been shot?

This has been the weekend of the wreckers, starting with Felipe "St. Devote" Massa, RoGro and now The Reverend. Come to think about it, Pastor ruined VDG's epic qualify effort by destroying his nose on lap 1. Divine retribution?

No. Because there wasn't a red flag last year, that was 2011.

One good thing about the red flag at Monaco, the convenient pause in the race gave me time to get home from work, where I'd stayed to watch!
