OK, I don't mind threads like those existing, but needless to say I won't be participating. It used to be I'd log-in, see there were new posts in
the EVdP forum, and click in hoping for some news on MotoGP or something from Cynon about Nascar, now it's just some rubbish tweenie
discussion that I don't care about. I think perhaps another new forum should exist to shift this stuff into, so we've got non-F1 motorsport
discussion in the EVdP forum and non-motorsport off-topic stuff in the new one.

That's my rant for the day. Perhaps I'm just a grumpy old sod - do all the new threads annoy anyone else?

But that's not the point of the forum is it? We're already stretching the boundaries by having threads for other sports, why should there be an entire forum sub-section devoted to off-topic rubbish? If people want to talk about stuff like that, go to Facebook, Twitter, other forums, chatrooms, whatever. I know for a fact most of us use at least one of those mediums, and most of us are already connected. I really can't see the point in having such a forum here except for those members sad enough to want to boost their post count by spouting rubbish no-one's really interested in. The fact you use the term 'imaginary wall' says it all really doesn't it? It would effectively be not part of F1 Rejects, so why should it be here in the first place?

Well I'd like to counter with the logical point that, as said threads were mostly created by different members rather than the same person spamming EVDP with off-topic topics, it suggests this whole thing is a non-issue. For example, the Ali Dia thread, most football forums are filled with idiots, I haven't found this to be the case here at all. If you aren't interested in the thread just don't open it...much like I don''t go anywhere near the Wrestling thread, but, I don't have any problem with it being there....no-one is forcing you to read it...

Excuse me, but one does not "chase skirt" as you put it. My girlfriend would be furious if I did. That, and, Brazilians have this bad habit of murdering their exes.
