I tweaked his car overnight :D
But seriously, not bad, despite not making any improvement on the car whatsoever. The engine might be good, so I think that will stay, but the chassis has to go.

Aerond, having looked back on the chassis and engine list for this year and seeing what teams did what, I've got a few questions to ask:

1. Why is the Jordan chassis so bathplugging expensive when it's not even the best one on the market?
2. In theory, ArrowTech have a slightly superior engine to the likes of Jones Racing but with a slightly inferior chassis. The reliability numbers of ArrowTech are also comparable to Jones, Kahama and Sunshine. Why the hell then are ArrowTech so far behind them in the standings?
3. Exactly how does the Speed Inc thing on the chassis market work and how much does it affect engine output? (I heard numbers like 40bhp either way being thrown around but a more clear-cut explanation might help out the likes of Shizuka who couldn't run a piss-up in a brewery if their life depended on it  )

I can answer that one - reliability comes, in the end, down to sheer dumb luck. Arrowtech's luck just hasn't been favourable yet, their team is pretty much one giant Kay Lon as far as this topic goes. Furthermore, they have slightly weaker drivers how are likely - especially Bosevic - to have higher Random Grip Range than Sunshine's or Jones' drivers.

Edit: have you taken updates into consideration as far as your statement goes? Sunshine and Jones had reliability upgrades. Did Arrowtech had those as well?

Firstly, sorry for the double post.

Secondly, since I am very sure that I have missed a team entering, the entry list for Luxembourg is closed now. Please check the entry list and if you have registered yourself for the GP and are not on the list, please show me where your post is. Thank you.

Could you provide a direct link to the entry list so it can be checked please? Thank you.

The Foxdale entry at least looks correct. :)

EDIT: Ooops, forgot to thank you, Klon.

And as regards the qualifying results, Ben Fleet was surprised not to be in the top 3, Douglas expected to be about 8th, and Pippa Mann was shocked and horrified to find herself down in 20th!

One swallow does not make a summer... And the contract has already been signed. Compensation is due if you let him go between now and the end of the 2015 season (excluding non-championship races!). ;)

Nope...his contract may have been signed, but it does not take effect until his contract with DGNgineering expires. I can still change my mind before the end of this season ;)

Spencer retired in lap 6 (I think), only a few seconds before Mark Dagnall retired. Nicolas won the race in front of Mori and Lon - that must have been the coldest podium ceremony of the year.

So that means Spencer's still in championship contention by the skin of his teeth and Nicolas is only 8 points behind Dagnall with three races to go... Matthias, your seat will have to wait.

From what I remember (which is only scattered bits of info), Davies was 4th and O'Lauchlan 6th. I THINK. But I might be wrong. What I am certain of however is that Whitechapel retired and Zimmer finished dead last

I think they both kicked the bucked from their positions shortly before the end of the race, since I know that Jones finished fourth.

There's one confirmed spot remaining with HRT and GRM merging. The provisional list is here. A 2nd slot may open up depending on what happens in the land up North.

EDIT: Turns out slot 20's taken up the successor team of Sunshine Infiniti but DanielPT's yet to confirm anything for next year. Chances are you might be able to get your hands on Acuri if you're willing to negotiate with Mr McClean.

Hydook 'ready and waiting' to join F1RWRS grid
It is no secret that Hydook wants to run its own Formula 1 team as soon as possible depending on the opportunities available and the money that will be needed. Anton Bosevic, the managing-director of the team, confirmed the plans this week in Autosport magazine, saying that Hydook might enter F1 next year or in 2016.
"We're ready and waiting", Bosevic told RWRS Insider.

There's no way you're getting a spot for 2015 but 2016 is a possibility. For further information, please send your queries to a Mr D. Prieto in F1RWRS HQ in Madrid.

On the negative side there´s loads of drivers who seemed to compete for being the slowest teammate, Ben Fleet,... and Pippa Mann did everything to go completely unnoticed. Ben Fleet squeezed from 5th on grid, to a distant 7th in the end after having been passed by both Phoenix, and Pippa Mann, who did the most anonymous race of the weekend.

We're a bit annoyed that Kamaha were able to score well with Mori's second place, but overall we're in a strong position as we head to the three flyaway races. The team hasn't had a retirement since Belgium now, the reliability we focused on in the off-season is really paying off, and we've maximised our chances by taking points in all of these recent races. Our top speed may be lacking, but we're getting our cars to the finish and that's what matters. I didn't quite have the pace to match the others with my two stopper, but nonetheless 4th place is great.

Don't talk to me about Melrose.
