Pedro Diniz's debut season score is high enough to get him near the Top 10. That's impressive. It will be interesting to find out if he makes it into the Top 10. Ricardo Zonta is another man we might see there because of his BAR years.

Please update this thread in shorter time intervals. Thank you.

Oh, and another man I can see having a go at the Top 10 is current driver Adrian Sutil because he was at the right place for it at Spyker and since the early days for Force 1ndia during a time when there are many, many races on the calendar.

Don't worry, I just went on holiday and just didn't feel like doing it. 1996 results will be up tomorrow.

Wow, just two seasons and Diniz and his inclusion in the All-time top 10 look rock solid. He´ll be with no doubt third by the end of 1997

For 1997 I´ll go different and say Verstappen.

It's funny how Martin Brundle quietly manages to move up to 3rd in the all-time standings whilst Pedro Diniz makes a spectacular entrance to the Top 10 in 6th place. Forza PP Diniz!(Maybe it wasn't just sponsorship money because of which he later drove for PP Sauber AG. Maybe it was also his initials!)

We have to wait and see whether Diniz is able to improve that record even further. Katayama retired after 1997. Conspiracy theorists can say something about this, did he know that he had moved to 1st position?

On with my 1998 pick: Esteban Tuero.

Katayama's record is spectacular. I did not expect Joakim Bonnier's record to be broken so soon. We will have to wait and see if besides Pedro Diniz also HWNSNBM, Christijan Albers, Tiago Monteiro, Sakon Yamamoto and Adrian Sutil can make it into the Top 10.

I get the strange feeling that Narain Karthikeyan has returned to F1 this year to have a go at winning the prestigious Johnny Claes Award ...

I didn't expect Katayama to burst into the No. 1 spot :o

Pedro Diniz will take no. 1 spot. And Adrian Sutil will be the only one with a chance at beating him.
