pasta_maldonado wrote:Knockhill Race 2 has been completed, results from both races and updated championship standings will be up at the weekend. However, there is a new rule I'd like to bring in now, ahead of a raft of rule changes for next season.
Double dutying will now be mostly banned for drivers competing in RTCC. Double dutying is a driver competing in two series simultaneously, that is, RTCC and another series. Drivers can only compete in the F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup, OR the Lupo GTI Championship FULL TIME AND compete in RTCC. Drivers are allowed PART TIME GTR schedules. Any driver that competes in any other series will not be allowed to race until it is made clear whether or not they will commit to RTCC. Also, it is YOUR responsibility to check for any clashing dates - if there is a clash, your driver will simply NOT be entered for the RTCC race on the date of that clash. HOWEVER, if a driver leaes another series midway through a season, they can still race in RTCCCurrently, the only drivers that violate this rule are:
Julian Clark (RRC), Michael Rohnstock (RRC), Travis Crabtree (RRC). . If their owners do not state wether or not they will be competing in RTCC OR RRC then they will be removed.

Clark will continue in the RTCC and will be replaced in the RRC. Can I enter him in the F1RSTC part time though?

Since double duty is not accepted anymore, Zeroforce will let Ståle Øivind Røsbjørgen drive in the Rejects Rallycross Championship. He will be replaced by Natascha Zaugg in the Vectra #29 in the RTCC.

Pasta, you sir, are a goddamn muppet.
Since it's two event in a row you've screwed up for DCR, you have the choice of either rerunning the event, or I'm taking you to CAS for incompetence

The fact the name was displayed as Daniel when Iccalculated the stats for Dean doesn't make a difference

And this time the Vectra's screwed you over, damn things couldn't stay on the track

RTCC Round of France // Dijon-PrenouisQuali:
Race:
Kudos to Gia van Dycke, Jason Wintermeter and Tom Douglas - they held the top 3 positions for much of the race, and only a late charge from Jenkins and McAllister stripped van Dycke of victory. It wasn't a breeze past, either, all three put up a convincing fight against the manufacturers. A DNF denotes the driver spun out.

The Sun wrote:SELIGA TO DRIVE FOR GREGG RACING IN 2017
As a reward for finishing in a point-scoring position in the season opener of the RTCC, Peter Seliga will drive #99 in the RTCC in 2017, Gregg Racing's team boss Ryan Gregg has confirmed.
The Slovenian could not contain his excitement at being awarded the drive.
"It is an absolute honour to be in the points in my very first race!" he exclaimed. "I cannot believe I will be competing in the RTCC next year! Hvala, Gregg Racing! Slovenija! Slovenija! Slovenija!"
We can't say the same for his Ulsterman team-mate Norman McHugh though as he retired on lap one after stalling on the grid and was awarded Reject of the Race. McHugh reacted to this by quitting the team in a rage after just one race. Gregg's RRC competitor Richard Young will replace him in all remaining rounds bar the third, which clashes with his RRC duties.

Erm... Gregg Racing currently do not have a team in RTCC, and it is not certain they'll get one for 2017.
In other news, results from the Rounds of Germany will be up soon, and then more news about the 2017 rules.

What I meant is that Gregg Racing have plans to make full-time debut in the series in 2017. The other driver is as of yet unconfirmed.
