A clever fix there. His development rate is so high that he may win all the races left this year. You just watch.

Nobody can resist him, you've finally caught on.

And your sig, whilst somewhat accurate, doesn't do his talent justice.

You could have gone with Chilton and Marussia equalling domination, although that doesn't do him justice either.

Nor would the likes of

Chilton and AGS
Chilton and Eurobrun

Maybe Max Chilton + Life = Total Domination justifies his seemingly endless supply of talent.

I don't know why I continue to discuss Max Chilton, when I am clearly not worthy.

Meh. Racing sims always feel too easy when you play as the best driver.

Of course. But even with HWNSNBM only in classic mode (because he is the most classic of all classic things), he can still win the 2013 championship easily. He just won't let us know how.

Max Chilton, Marussia
2012 Qualifying - n/a, 2012 Race - n/a

“It’s great to be back in Japan and to finally get the opportunity to race at the Suzuka Circuit. I came straight here from Korea so I would have the opportunity to explore a little more because there are so many fantastic things to experience here. This will be another new challenge and one that I have been looking forward to because it is such a technical circuit and because of all the history attached to it. I have been inspired by some of the great battles I have watched here over the years. The fans are also pretty special, both in and out of the circuit. Seeing them camped outside the drivers’ hotel is quite something, never mind the reception we get when we’re out on track. I hope we can race to a strong two-car finish again - and hopefully with less attrition up ahead.”

An inspired Chilton will hit the circuit this weekend. The other drivers better watch out!

There's a precedent too. Raikkonen won at Suzuka after climbing up from last place. Who's to say our Max, assured future World Champion, can't replicate the feat?

0.638s faster than "wonderkid" Bianchi in Q1 on one of the hardest tracks of the year. Honestly, this form is starting to show how anonymously Bianchi is driving, having been amazing in the first few races.

Certainly one of the feel-good stories of the year so far this weekend in Japan...

Pinkham interviewed Chilton pre-Suzuka qualifying:
Pinks
You're closing the gap on Bianchi, he's a good benchmark for you, isn't he?

Max
Jules is extremely talented, since the August break I've been kind of right on him.
Managed to beat him in Singapore. I just want to get a good qualifying in front of him.
The gap is kind of minimal now, so I just got to get it all together and hope for the best.

And then Max promptly goes out and has the qualifying session of his life!

When talking about "Sports guarantees", this is right up there with Mark Messier promising that the Rangers would beat the Devils in Game 6.

Well done, Max. Well done.
