Vettel would win some races and Chilton would consistently finish in top 6
Vettel would win races in a Marussia?
The best he'd do is to
maybe score a point.

Probably still backmarkers or close to that. Who knows, they might have had a season similar to that of FI in 2009 at some point.
But really, I think they'd be in a similar position to Williams, with unpredictable rises and falls in performance.

A Red Bull? He'd do so in a Caterham.
And really, Jamie and Enoch are at the head of the ChiltonCraze, they first realised that he was Talent, Talent, Talent.

That leads to a famous headline in

Wasn't the same thing said of the 1996 Williams FW18?

I hate to think what could have happened. He would have probably started at the back, in around 30th place. From there, I think he would have been skilled enough to avoid the crash, but the car would have been entirely new to him, so I doubt that.

I was wondering about some drivers that lose the victory in crucial moments. What if:
Hill had wrecked Villeneuve in the last lap of hungaroring/97?
Barrichello had wrecked Schumacher in their dispute in Indy/05? (I think that Barrichello already had signed a contract with Honda in that moment)
Fisichella had wrecked Raikkonen in the last lap of Suzuka/05?
Webber had wrecked Vettel in Sepang (in this year)?

Johnny Herbert victory! Sauber's first win too.

All i'd care about is Jordan scoring yet another win, and Minardi would get their best ever result.

If Hill and JV had clashed and both went out, Herbert and Sauber would have won! Schumacher would have finished 2nd and Villeneuve would have lost the title. Even if Hill survived and won the race, Schumi would have been 3rd and still would have been champion. Jerezgate might have never happened.
If the Ferraris and clashed and Schumacher retired, the Jordans would both have finished on the podium, with Barrichello winning and the crowd possibly booing even louder. If both went out Monteiro would have won in a Jordan 1-2 and the Minardi of Albers would have been on the podium! Barrichello would probably have stayed on at the Scuderia until the end of the year.
If Fisichella and Raikkonen clashed, Alonso would have made it a Renault 1-2 and the team would have had a bigger lead in the constructors over McLaren, almost sealing the title. Webber would have finished 3rd. If both went out, Alonso would have won from Webber and Button.
If Webber took out Vettel it would have been a reverse repeat of Turkey 2010, but again I think Webber wouldn't be fired. Hamilton would be the victor if the team had both drivers DNF.

I don't think so. Sauber had Massa there on loan from Ferrari (after all, he was tester for 2003), and BMW bought out Sauber mid-2005.

He would have scored more points at Indy! That is if he was still driving for Minardi.

Then Rubens would have been fired

and Massa would have scored his first podium(s) perhaps, otherwise just a points scorer or worse. He probably wouldn't have done better than Barrichello but undoubtedly would have stayed on for 2006, where the real story begins.

He probably would have won the battle for the Podium had he contested Indy 2005 (Although to some people here he might have won the race

)

The circuit would just be used less frequently, because the by-pass roads wouldn't have been built, that is really all. All the safety works for formula one would have happenned anyway. Everyday traffic could theoretically perfectly run at the current track, just need to draw a few lines, and put a few temporary traffic signs, and voila.

Yeah. But would the rest of the roads be resurfaced like they were in 2002 after the roads closed?

Yes. Having daily trafic would have meaned that resurfacing would have to be done more frequently, though Especially considering the rather poor quality of asphalt on Belgian public roads. But i'm sure that it wouldn't make much difference, other than that it would cause a lot of traffic problems at race weekends (which is the main reason why the circuit is permanently closed, and the by-pass was created)

What if Ford decided to keep Jaguar going after 2004 instead of selling the team to Red Bull. Would it be more of the same mismanagement, or would there be an upswing in performance considering that the RB1 was in effect the 2005 Jaguar chassis, and was a consistantly competitive car?
I've always wondered what the RB1 would look like in Jaguar's livery.

Ferrari wouldn't become any more popular. Considering that Austria got a ton of "BOO!" around the event, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened again. Even if the victor was Michael Schumacher.

Their management was always poor before 2005, so I wouldn't expect anything different from them. On track, they would have scored decent points that year.

Webber would win the championship in 2010. 2011 would have been a much closer season, and Button probably would have taken it. 2012, he finishes runner-up to Alonso. 2013 he would be on much better form, and Vettel would be saked at the end of the year for Maylasia, but Webber would still retire anyways. Vettel would take a few wins, but would be given 90 percent of the mechanical problems, and team orders. (It feels good to dream.)

Jovy Marcelo might have not died as his crash was quite similar although at the opposite end of the front straightaway in turn one. Either that or the 1992 race would have been as dark as the 1973 Indy 500 with Art Pollard and Swede Savage.
