Melrose Racing Team will run with less power than they have for most of the year at the Bud Light 800, Autosport has learned. A motion was passed through the F1RTA meeting yesterday afternoon by all team bosses, including MRT boss Daniel Melrose, to have the MRTs run with a much lower boost pressure limit at the Bud 800 as they are the only one of the three turbo teams that will be participating in the event. Whilst the exact details are yet to be revealed, it is understood that it was done in the spirit of fair competition and could be in the tune of over 100bhp. "Having been on both sides of the coin with the new Regulations and all, I have absolutely no problem with this agreement" said Melrose after the meeting. "We did have a bit of an argument about just how much to reduce the boost pressure by but, in the end, we'll still be up there with the best of them on the day. Hopefully it'll mean that the car won't lunch the engine for once." The agreement is expected to be only for the Bud 800 weekend.

People ahve been making modes for rFactor for years, all with the copyrighted names, and no one seems to care. As long as a mod is 'legal' (i.e. you created it from scratch yourself, not copied other's work or stole from another game) then it's all okay

May I allow myself the comment that I truly appreciate you putting Pippa behind just so Douglas' status in the F1RWRS Classic Club (the now four remaining drivers who have entered every F1RWRS race ever held) remains untouched?

Rumours are circulating that despite saying he will race in the Chinese GP, he may be forced to sit out the grand prix to recover from his recent injury as the race may make it worse. If he does sit out two replacement drivers that have been see in the Jones motorhome are Saeed Al Faisal and David Koczo, our spies said that Al Faisal spent nearly 45 minutes in the motorhome and Koczo a mere 25 minutes. Al Faisal is desperate to get back into F1 and he has had some good results driving the Sunshine car last year, he does come with sponsorship which would give Jones racing some extra money to splurge. Neither driver or Jones racing offered to comment.
Kay Lon to be replace at the Japanese GP?
Although Kay Lon has managed a few podiums in the last few races, it is believed that the Sunshine management team from Portugal are unhappy with his performances on the track, especially as Shinobu Katayama has won a race and is currently 3rd in the championship as well as off the track with news stories of Kay Lons altercation with Barii Mori and his sex life being in the tabloid newspapers. Sunshine have refused to comment on this and no drivers have been hinted as Kay Lons replacement.
Barii Mori a record breaker.
The Chinese GP will be Moris 50th Grand prix start if he qualifies, if he fails to win the race then he will have the distinction of being the first driver to 50 race starts without a win.

Sunshine are still mainly sponsored by Japanese firms and it would not be a surprise that they would want a full Japanese line up at the Japanese GP. Shizuka did not have the best time at Sunshine with 2 7th places and 9 retirements but I am sure he would be itching to take this years car and go out on a high.
We do understand that Kay Lon has to beat Shinobu Katayama in both qualifying and the race at the Chinese GP else he will be released before the Japanese GP.
