I'm eager to hear more of it, more detail if possible, don't PM me. Just post in this tread what the whole thing is about (please, do not open other treads).

Thanks.

PS: Could it be typed? I hate cut & paste.

Edit: I tried to go to .com site you both posted, but I don't have internet...

Or, better, Arrows had an almost simultaneous engine failure in both cars at the 1998 Spanish GP.

Jordan went through 7 (?) engines in the race weekend HWNSNBM made his debut.

HWNSNBM was only discarding the engines he deemed unworthy.

HWNSNBM was only discarding the engines he deemed unworthy. {kostas22 - previous post}

I believe HWNSNBM had some help in the "rejecting unworthy engines" department, but it wasn't enough. They'd have needed to bin the entire consignment of Ford engines for the entire year to get rid of all the unworthy ones, which would have made it impossible for HWNSNBM to start his debut...

How about Enrique Bernoldi retiring from the 2001 British Grand Prix because his car had an unfortunate collision with a... ...hamburger wrapper? (The wrapper got stuck in a sidepod and by the time anyone knew it was there, the engine had overheated).

So when you eat your lunch and the wrapper says "Please bin", "Please recycle" or even "Do not litter", you know why...

I'm sure it was the 1978 German GP where Stommelen and Hunt and maybe a couple of others were disqualified for going into the pits the wrong way.Was there some sort of unusual pit lane entry configuration that year?It seems fairly easy to do-enter pit lane, drive down it...

Also a notable race as it was the only points finish for reject team Rebaque.

Angara-_Samuel wrote:Guys if this is the bad place for posting this please mod move it to the correct section.

Um ... there is no correct section. We don't discuss much outside the world of Formula 1. And what we do discuss outside of Formula 1 is almost always within the sphere of motorsport. Your concern is noble, and no doubt we all share your sentiments - but this isn't the place to discuss it.

Angara-_Samuel wrote:I am shocked from what happened and it is a very urgent news to us all.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see how it is "urgent to us all". I know that sounds cold, and for me to follow up with a comment on how tragic it is will only seem hollow ... so I won't. But insofar as I am aware, there are no Haitian forum members. In fact, I cannot say with any certainty how many forum members actually know where Haiti is (that's not an insult to you, guys). In fact, a lot of us hail from the opposite side of the world, so far away that we were completely unaware of the disaster until it was reported on the evening news.

It's pretty clear you've joined to discuss this (after all, this is your only post), but as I said - this isn't the place to discuss it. It does not mean that we don't care, but that there are much more appropriate places to discuss it.

In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have deleted that, but alas, I didn't want to take all of that time fishing the links out of it.

Screw this, it's 1 AM. I'll let Carlos merge it (I <3 you Carlos, remember that...). I'm going to bed.

There's not much we can help by keeping that on F1Rejects. There are other, better fora to discuss - and act - on it.
