Ideally Using one of the more up to date seasons but obviously I will need help from GPM2 god Nuppiz. Obviously if you can not spare the time then I would be absolutely ok with that.

Editing the config file so that all parts are allowed from the start and all 13 teams are playable takes about 5-10 minutes. So it really isn't any trouble at all. :)

If it is no trouble, could you make all teams playable on the 2010 mod? Thanks.

I have another idea for a series. It would be set in the seventies and would feature reject and never raced cars. What do you think about it?
Another idea I have would be to run a series on the winning tracks of our track design competition (using a results generator of course).

I have an idea for a series, which I believe hasn't been attempted yet. In short, I'd like to combine Formula One with Civilization. You start out with pre-war level Formula cars, and apart from developing your existing parts, you also research future tech parts. There will be tech tree like at the Civilization games, where you can continuously research your way towards innovations like rear-engined cars, ground effects or wing cars. On the other hand, such a series might take way too much time to simulate properly.

EDIT: I've got another idea though. Inspried by Dinizintheoven's series, how about a "Dead Drivers Championship"? Don't worry, I'll try to make this as respectful as possible. More like a tribute to them. What do you think?

Okay, without objections from MinardiFan95 (yet), I decide to revive his long-forgotten GP4 series (henceforth known as "F1RGP4C"). This way.

Anyone who had originally participated in that series, please reconfirm your drivers. :)

Well, with my external harddrive dead (RIP in peace) the Street Racing Leauge is dead as well. I will post an in-character reason for that as well ... someday. Now, the temptation of GP2 is strong, so I will try to start a new series in mid-late February (mainly depends on how fast I can get internet in my new apartment in Flensburg), of course financed by the Best In The World brand.

Now, there are two options I have for you:
"Kay Lon presents: Badass Mothertruckers" - a truck racing series, really.
"Kay Lon presents: Superleague Rejects" - it's like Superleauge Formula, except with a more coherent qualifying and only for teams of third-level football (or weaker)

Which one'd you prefer?

Kostas and I will be very unhappy, if we could just use third-grade clubs in the proposed Superleague series.

Although it would be funny to play the Vfl Wolfsburg. My first order would be to sign six drivers, and let them rotate randomly, Felix Magath-style.

No, I'm fine with it - I'd relish the chance to turn perennial losers East Stirlingshire into WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

About East Stirlingshire; they've been stuck in the bottom division of professional Scottish football since 1982. They finished as the bottom club of the bottom league five years in a row between 2002 and 2007. They have only been in the top division in Scotland twice since the club's inception in 1881 - 1932/33 (where they finished last), and 1963/64 (where they finished, you guessed it, last). It hardly gets more rejectful than that.

I have a crazy idea for y'all, when my computer is able to boot to Vista again: Warped (tentative name). :)

This will be a touring car series set beyond time and space - we will race in fictional tracks in other games! The results will be generated using xkoranate but using the xkoranate's default (or as I say, F1RMGP-style) skill system instead of traditional C-A-R system.

We will be using cars from late 80s to early 90s Group A Touring Car specifications. The 190E, M3 Sport Evolution, R32 GT-R, Opel Omega, Sierra RS Cosworth, Holden Commodore, and (for laughs) Impreza Sports Wagon (making it Warped's own 850 Estate )

Any feedbacks? Any interests on this? :)

*cough*F1RSTC*cough*.

On the bright side, the concept of racing on fictional tracks in other games seems mildly interesting.Just change the cars a little.Maybe use modern day touring cars as Pasta's RTCC uses late 90's British Touring cars.

Nah, modern touring cars are boring, IMO. There is a reason I choose those cars. ;) And no, Warped won't compete directly with F1RSTC.

Before I start my 2016 IndyCar season, I'd like to do a series similar to the Superleague Formula. But with some slight twists:

- While the series utilizes a single-spec chassis, teams have a choice between three or four different engine choices: V6t, V8, V10, V12. Of course, these engines have advantages and disadvantages.
- All venues will be racing circuit, which are built in close proximity to actual football stadium. Here's the Santiago Bernabeu Street Circuit for example: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5770575 You can also make suggestions for suitable venues alongside the Bernabeu.
- As for the drivers, I'm considering to use actual football players. I mean, Wayne Rooney crashing into Cristiano Ronaldo has something.
- Therefore, I'll simulate this series with xkoranate.
- I also plan to have a first and a second round, similar to basically every football league in existence.
- But I plan to hold only 10 rounds over the whole season. I don't want to strech out such a series too much. The furthest I plan to go are seven venues, not more.
- However: There may be two races in Spain, but both rounds don't have to take place around the Bernabeu. I could also hold a round around the Camp Nou or the Vincente Calderon. Although such a series might be more of a typical series by then.

Who would partake in such a series? I'm pretty sure I can reserve Inter for Kostas for example ;).

Then you can't have Bayern or KSC in that series, so I don't know whether you'd want that to happen or not. I mean if Oliver Kahn was on the track, most other drivers would put their car in the wall out of fear.

Here's another proposal to throw at you lot.

I've recently been playing a fair bit of GT Legends, which has loads of old touring and GT cars from the 60s and 70s - stuff from Mini Coopers through to Porsche 911s, Ford GT40s, De Tomaso Panteras, Capris, Escorts, etc, etc, the list is endless.

Anyway, whilst it's impossible, for example to run a race of more than 6 Mini Coopers, I thought we could have a RWRS "Masters" or "Legends" series where the top guns of the RWRS over the years take part in a little mini-series over the off-season. I know Pointrox has tried this at least twice with the champions from each series, but my idea would be based purely around the "vets" - those either in retirement or not far off. Oh, and I'll actually run mine properly and finish it too. ;)

For example, drivers that I can think of off the top of my head could be: Chris Dagnall, Sammy Jones, Phoenix McAllister, Gary Cameron, Nathanael Spencer, Dave Simpson, John Zimmer, etc.

So I'm thinking possibly giving the full list of cars available, and each driver picking one, so we have a really varied field, but that is up for debate. What won't be possible is, like I said above, a one make series as the game doesn't allow it. The game does allow up to 35 cars at certain tracks though, so we're not limited in entries, and there's plenty of tracks from around Europe, off the top of my head I know there's Donington Park, Dijon, Andestorp, Hockenheim, Spa and Zolder and probably a couple more, so we could pick three or four and see how things go.

What do we think of that anyway? Is there mileage in an idea like this?

I presume you mean Grand Prix Legends? Which I do, but that would be far harder to organise, with fewer entries available, and only old configurations of tracks (I mean really old) so it wouldn't really fit in the timeframe very well. Might be worth looking into as something for the future, as there's loads of mods available for it, but it has a tendency to pack up every so often on my laptop, so that could be a job for someone else.

Yeah, it was GP Legends I meant. This was just something that I have been dwelling upon, but won't do until I have some sort of mastery of the game (like being able to complete a qually lap anywhere and be in any position but last...). But I am struggling to find the time to complete Douglas Mann's NASCAR career so this may be some years off yet.

I think that this forum really lacks a stock car championship. So since my ChampCar project doesn't seem to draw much reactions, I think I should try this type of series. But there are a few questions:

1) What simulator should I use? Good old Xkoranate or NR2003? The problem with the latter is the amount of liveries you'll have to create. I'm not too good with that, plus I have exams coming up, and also a little bit lazy. On the other hand, xkoranate has it's issues with oval racing (high attrition rate, rather random winners).
2) When does the 2015 F1RWRS end? As I intent to start with the 2016 stock car season, thus bringing the universe in line.

Any more views on this or shall I assume it's a non-starter?
