Remember the days where football games had the players that looks blocky, typo'd player names (due to licensing issues), and suchlike? Well, ISS Pro Evolution 2 has all of these. And the game has one of the best menu music for a football game. :D

More Kula Shaker for your listening pleasure. It is impossible to listen to that tune and not feel bathplugging awesome afterwards.

Also, anything with Shaun Ryder in it pretty much rules..

Apart from the 1992 Happy Mondays album. But let's forget that ever existed, and stick with the rest of the Monday's material. :|

Nice, I love the Happy Mondays. I actually parodied Kinky Afro on the 'I'm rejectful' thread.

Weirdo, probably my favourite Charlatans song.

Those of you from USA will probably know these as Charlatans UK

Is anyone here a fan of Jake Bugg? He's bloody fantastic, and he's in with a chance of going straight to number one with his debut album this Sunday.

Not really my cup of tea, but the lad's got talent.

A bit of Dropkick Murphys...

There was one good track from 'Yes Please' - I personally thought 'Sunshine & Love' was one of the best things they did. Unfortunately the press had crucified the album by that point and it bombed.

Good call, I like that one too. Though my favourite is 'Then' - which I could post if I could get Youtube to work but it's messing around at the moment for some reason.

Watching the latest series of Red Dwarf and actually enjoying it in a way I never thought I would, my thoughts turned to the much-maligned series 7 and 8. They weren't anywhere near as good as the original run, that's not in doubt. But they had their moments.

And this was one of them. Howard Goodall, we salute you.

   That has to be one of my favourite moments of all 10 series, the execution was flawless  I don't know about you, but I prefer 7 to 8

Hyper Go Go // Never Let Go

Do wish Piano House had been a more popular genre.

This is something I can't get enough of, and it's just on a different plane to most things out there today. It's music for the soul; John's brilliant vocals just add an introspective dimension to the textured guitar and piano sections. With a lot of music, all it does is make a pleasant listening experience. The songs on this album don't just do that, they playfully paint pictures in your mind. I find that some of the effects on vocals sound almost spiritual; an ethereal guide through the album as it progresses.

But that's just my opinion, here it is if you want to take the plunge.

So if I may, I'd like to ask y'all a question: What is currently your favourite album?

Gran Turismo 2 memories

EDIT: Speaking of GT2 memories, how could I forget I Think I'm Paranoid from Garbage? Safe to say I did develop a crush on Shirley Manson the first time I saw that video.

Just when I bought Gran Turismo 3 at a cheapo price (7 quid WITH postage to Hungary!) - perfect timing there. :D

Here's one song I'd like to hear in a racing game.

The massive feeling of euphoria when you find out the Stone Roses are playing at Finsbury Park next June.

Swiftly followed by deflation when you realise it's slap bang in the middle of my A2 exams. And that I'll probably won't be able to afford a ticket.

I'd probably go to that if by some miracle I had a car by then, but considering I am a student, no chance.

While we are on the subject, I might as well post the bands or singers that I have seen in concert. Kind of random, but that's what they had in my area. Anyone els have anything good?

Kid Rock (Best concert I've ever been to so far. Was with Rev. Run of Run DMC, and Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band as well.)
Willie Nelson
B.B. King
Tone Loc
Cheap Trick
Switchfoot
Coolio
Heart
3 Doors Down
Papa Roach
Journey
Rehab
Lit (Adrian Young of No Doubt was substituting for the late Allen Shellenberger, who was still alive when I saw them.)
Drowning Pool (Sadly, without Dave Williams.)
Gin Blossoms
Vanilla Ice (No, I'm not joking there.)
Staind
Nonpoint
Seether
Fuel
Saliva
Bubba Sparxx
Little Richard

Arctic Monkeys - Fluoresecent Adolescent

I wonder if the Monkeys got a load of abuse from the Morris Marina Owner's Club for blowing up said car in the video? They should have dropped a piano on it instead.

EDIT: Yes they did. Mind you, it's a heck of a lot more tame than the abuse Top Gear recieved a year later.

"Fast Marina Magazine." Heh. Is anyone still unclear on what the definition of an oxymoron is?
