I've decided to redesign the Alitalia shirt. It's now predominately red with some white and green. Here's the PNG;

Christ, Lansvale Racing looks tiny compared to these 20 and 30 rider superteams that are emerging. Not that I'm complaining because my team's gonna be absolute shite anyway regardless of what happens.

Normally I would prefer it if there were no changes made to the entry, though you did add many riders to the team after submitting entry so I will allow this. Does not take a genius to see what direction you want your team to go

It does not matter if you have seven crappy sprinters, Lorenzo Romano will destroy all of them alone! And he doesn't even need to, he has Mazzola as a wingman!

The NSA Racing Team will use their entire roster minus Wesley Duncan as their lineup for Australia.

I would like to get the Down Under Tour running soon, but there is still time to create more riders, create your own new custom jersey (or ask me to use one on the PCM website for you).
I would like, Battery, UBC, Hitachi and Circus to confirm their plans ASAP though.

I will be running the Tour Down Under first stage imminently.
For Cycling Circus I will just run their 6 riders but for Hitachi and UBC (Unless otherwise corrected) I will run the following riders:
HItachi
Hirohito Kamazaki
Jorge Luis Hernandez
Jerry Fletcher
(The 3 confirmed Riders at the team)
Yuki Shizuno
Taki Takashita
Claudio Bonotellio
Franceso Rossi
UBC
Preston Senersen
Karl van de Graaf
Quinton Voss
Istvan Feher
Leonal Canfora
Jackson Bannister
Arnold Abil
The Tour Down Under is the first event on the calender and it happens significantly earlier than all the o her events (January!) so I will allow more rider signings and even team entries after the event.

Re: F1 Rejects Does:The Tour de France! Down Under Tour up
The 2013 UCI World Cycling tour begins in Australia with the tour Down Under. 6 stages ranging from flat to hilly courses.
The first stage is mostly a flat affair though features a short climb at the end which may take it's toll on some riders that over exert themselves early on.
This stage also represents the debut of Lansvale Smash Repairs Racing and the National Steroid Association Racing Team.
111 riders across 16 teams are gunning for victory and of course an early lead in the World Tour. Good Luck.

It is an excellent start for Performance and Cocktails Racing with Wilson Ricky winning the stage on his debut and Stefan Lomassonn coming home a fine 3rd. Splitting them is home team Lansvale's Roberto di Magenta. As part of the Down Under Tour rules, riders have seconds reduced from their overall time as a reward for strong stage finishes and mid race sprints. Grishin, Clarks, Aqeem and Van de Graaf were the early break-away riders, though caught managed to finish with the main pack.
Lorenzo Romano nearly won the stage, he had a clear lead but 50m from the end he seemed to run out of steam and was denied by centimeters, though he does put his name on the World leaderboard with a bonus point for finishing the stage 4th, along with a point for Mitchell Webb who seemed to have moved from FSR to Fosters easily enough. Battery Energy and Team CIP tried to lead the field to the line to set up their sprinters but the front 5 riders all leached off their efforts whilst it was a tough day for Hitachi, Hitachi lead the peloton for the majority of the race and because of the strain 3 of their riders fell away from the pack and lost 2 minutes on the field. So many riders finished together that all 16 teams are on the same score after day 1.
Day 2 offers a much tougher stage and is most likely we will see a clear group of leaders emerge in the standings.

Re: F1 Rejects Does:The Tour de France! Down Under Tour up
Abdulrashid takes tour lead!

Cycling Circus's Nasser Abdulrashid won the stage and with it overall lead of the tour today on the first of two hill stages on this tour.
Abdulrashid secured his victory by outsmarting the five otherriders who broke forward on the first of 4 laps( Castiglione, Abil, Nordman, Volkov, Kraviz) around Sterling. For awhile it looked like the superb solo effort of Slobodan Tomic would be enough for the victory, the Team Cip rider broke at the half way point of the race on the steep climb for mountain points and rode superbly on his own for a long while, only being caught by the break away six by the beginning of the 3rd circuit.
The top seven then rode together at an intense pace, too intense for Kraviz and Volkov. Tomic and Nordman teamed up and made a dash for the victory only to be reeled in and past first by Abdulrashid working on his own and then Castiglione and Abil as a makeshift team. There were many other hill specialist riders that made breaks but they came too late, they relied too much on Performance and Cocktails to lead the field and it backfired only just catching Kraviz at the flag.

Overall the best team today was Alitalia with 2nd, 8th and 20th with their top 3 riders putting them just under a minute ahead of the Minardi team whilst Team CIP and Battery Energy are still within a shout for the teams honors. It was a terrible day for Credit Bancarotto, their sprint focused team didn't have the best of days yesterday either.

Re: F1 Rejects Does:The Tour de France! Down Under Tour up
Ah crap, I was about to finalise my team just now. That line-up is fine by me though for the time being.
The other Hitachi riders not present at the Tour Down Under that appeared in the previous Tour de France will be re-signed for the new season.
In addition to them, the following riders have been signed:
Daryl Foley (GBR) Flat, Prologue, Cobbles
Francois Le Bleu (FRA) Hills, Endurance, Resistance
Sochiro Hamasaki (JPN) Flat, Endurance, Acceleration
Tadi Nokaro (JPN) Mountain, Hills, Resistance
Daniel Morales (ESP) Hills, Time Trial, Resistance
Harry Pritchard (GBR) Resistance, Cobbles, Sprint
Esteban Fuentes (ESP) Mountain, Resistance, Recovery
Oleg Brutschev (RUS) Flat, Hills, Fighting Spirit
Paddy Quinn (IRE) Flat, Endurance, Sprint
Which should bring Hitachi's total count to 18 riders!

For future references, the team can simply be called the NSA Team.

You should call it the National Association of Steroids Association Racing Team, or NASA for short.

Fmecha hired all of them for Team FIrehawk, then decided not to enter any of them for this race.

Looks like the FGC riders are determined not to do that well....again!!
Out of interest, where are all the riders in the standings, and do you think the remaining stages might suit the team?

Pretty good performance in stage 2, but I still expect more from Monteverdi.

7th.Vasquez de Silva +2:26 (Sprinter and GC runner)
21st. Johan Kelstrom +3:34 (Leader 1)
23rd. Jan Ahlberg +3:34 (Leader 2)
28th. Anthony de Vries +3:34 (Team mate)
69th. Ryan Nelson +10:34 (Sprinter being used to help other sprinters)
80th.Barry Firestone +10:34 (Sprinter being used to help the other sprinters)
101st.Simon Hall +17:25 (See above)
Vasquez may not have any sprint points but is in good shape for a good result, Kelstrom, Ahlberg and de Vries may be in for a good result if they are in a good break. The sprinters have a good chance to score a hatful of points.

13th. Daniel Sims +2:26 (Team leader)
38th. Thomas Yorke +6:02 (team mate)
46th. Craig Beic +7:11 (luxury teammate, i.e fetches water)
47th. Dave Hedgehog +7:11 (Backup sprinter, should help Webb)
52nd. Mitchell Webb +9:27 (Sprinter with a points finish already)
83. Jaap van Riebeck +10:34 (team mate)
90th. Ed Kevin +10:38 (Tried to break last stage, got less than a minute ahead and gave up, his job is to go for breaks.)
Well Mitchell Webb as your lead sprinter and Daniel Sims on the hills means you are competitive on both surfaces. Though maybe you should have brought Klaus Fahrrad with you as his main specialty is hills.
