Good, since Fusion Motorsports would naturally have to file a lawsuit...heheh.

Depending on how overpaid one thinks he is, one can argue Davo's on the borderline between Gold and Platinum

Since I forgot to do one before, here's the form for van Gisbergen joining Scorpio.

Unfortunately Himalayas Racing have been advised that Alberto Cara and Chacko Palaniappan have been withdrawn from the #8 entry, and have been unavailable for further comment.

As a result, all drivers for the #8 are TBA.

EDIT: Disregard the above message - there was a misunderstanding between the management of Himalayas Racing and the driver's respective managers.

Chacko has been retained for the team, but Alberto Cara has been replaced by Renaldo Jiménez. Thus our current line-up is as follows:

CAR NUMBER: 8
DRIVER NAME: Will Davison
DRIVER NATIONALITY: Australian
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): Yes
DRIVER TIER: Gold (or Platinum?)

DRIVER NAME: Chacko Palaniappan
DRIVER NATIONALITY: Indian
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): No
DRIVER TIER: Gold

CAR NUMBER: 9
DRIVER NAME: Laurent Seron
DRIVER NATIONALITY: Belgian
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): Yes
DRIVER TIER: Gold

DRIVER NAME: Renaldo Jiménez
DRIVER NATIONALITY: Tropican
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): No
DRIVER TIER: Gold

Final co-drivers are still TBA pending 2016 SARS results.

Hound55 has confirmed that BOSS Automation are withdrawing from the series. That means that the Porsche works team is available again. As there is currently no suitable Porsche customer to run the works effort, the Porsche works entry is available again. Interested teams can apply until Thursday, 6 PM CET.

Users who don't run a full-time entry in the series yet have priority.

Just to be clear, I will offer myself for the Porsche GT team if nobody else wants it. But I already have NISMO and a part-time entry in GTs, so that puts me quite low in priority.

WILL DAVISON accepts the offer from Himalayas Racing.

SHANE VAN GISBERGEN joins Scorpio, but for Le Mans only.

LUIS PEREZ-COMPANC accepts the offer from Hunter Autosports.

NICK TANDY accepts the offer to do Le Castellet and Spa for Scorpio.

PATRICK LONG accepts the offer from Felbermayr-Dempsey

DRAGON accepts the offer from Harris Finance GT

Since you have only a one-car LMP2 team, while V8Fan12 and Biscione are both running two-car LMP1 teams, I think it would be most fair if you get the Porsche GT team.

Ok then.

Seeing as I only have one driver at present, I see no reason why I can't list a few prospective candidates for the seat?

Sebastien Buemi (Platinum)
Gianmaria Bruni (Silver)
Tiago Monteiro (Silver)
Heikki Kovaleinen (Platinum)
Marcel Fassler (Platinum)
Darren Turner (Silver)
Peter Kox (Gold)

Apologies if any of those drivers have already been taken, I'm just cobbling together a quick list to try and fill some of the TBA seats. For this season, the team will remain known as BOSS Automotive for this season, but it may be renamed for 2018.

Some notes on planned changes for the ACO LMC.

-The Ligier JS55 will be renamed to Ligier JS P2, to have the same name as in real-life, as the real-life JS55 is a Group CN car.

-I'm planning to get rid of salary/sponsorship RNGs. The new rule would be a salary of 300 000 for platinum drivers and 150 000 for gold drivers. Silver drivers would bring 100 000 to the team, and bronze drivers 250 000. Unless it's a problem for many team owners, I'm planning to change it already for 2017.

-The license criteria will be changed for 2018, to have the same criteria for GTR and LMC, but the driver ratings for 2017 stay the same as they are now.

And the points system:

The points system will be:
50-40-30-24-20-16-12-10-8-6-4-2 for 6 hour races. 1 point will be awarded to each classified finisher.
75-60-45-36-30-24-18-15-12-9-6-3 for 12 hour races and the Mil Milhas. 1.5 points will be awarded to each classified finisher-
100-80-60-48-40-32-24-20-12-8-4 for Le Mans. 2 points will be awarded to each classified finisher.

The different championships will be:
-Championship for LMP1 drivers
-Championship for LMP2 drivers
-Championship for GT drivers
-Championship for LMP1 manufacturers
-Championship for LMP1 teams (all)
-Championship for privateer LMP1 teams (non-works teams)
-Championship for LMP2 teams
-Championship for GT manufacturers
-Championship for GT teams
-Championship for GT-Am teams (non-works teams with at least one pay driver)

I think i'm going to withdraw the prototype and just focus on the GT's. That would mean Benoît Voeckler is no longer needed for the Spa round. I can alternatively offer him some RTCC seat or something like that.

It's ok, he's pretty busy as he is already. Between F1RWRS and part-time driving for Delacroix-Serrano GT, his schedule is pretty heavily laden already.

Dennis Mignolet will swap places with Kazuki Nakajima (MIG - #22, NAK - #23), and both Benoit Treluyer and Rafael Modena are dropped. In their place will be two Bronze tier drivers; Sir Chris Hoy (SCO) and Vadim Kogay (RUS).

I'm going to make this my final entry, as let's face it, it's about time this is sorted. :P

Since Jayleen Mori no longer has a DEC holder, I'd rather not have him on my team when there's potential for a new DEC holder to yank him out of the car if that person has no desire for him to be there. So, I'm going to make sure that does not happen.

The Valerian Racing Engines entry and the second Tassie car have been accepted, however, they have to skip the Silverstone round, since the entry list for that round was already full.

I also need the number for the Valerian car.

Here is a small overview of entry list spots remaining:
Paul Ricard - 3
Silverstone - 0
Spa-Francorchamps - 7
Le Mans - 2
Monza - 0
Sao Paulo - 1
Indianapolis - 3
Fuji - 3

Any GT team that still requires a driver; Massimo Munari is very interested in drive. His experience in Rallycross means this is not a well known discipline for him, but he was still a frontrunner in his category, and therefore gets a Silver rating.
