Finding a driver to give to Arrowtech is surprisingly challenging. It can't be Voeckler as he has gone to Gauthier as a Test Driver, it can't be Agyemang-Badu as he's an Aeroracing driver. It would probably have to be either Andrej Kremnicky or Bastiaan van Nieuwenhuijzen. I don't really know which!

Relax, I'll get preview shots soon. I'm just waiting on Jones at this point, then I've got to test the performance file. Quali should be up in a matter of days.

For France, HRT will run Frank Zimmer and Carter Simpson in one car (since Douglas is racing for Foxdale), and the Melville twins in the other. We also request that sh@box racing get a proper name, since this is a serious series.

A couple of things I need to clarify after that previous statement.

I think the concept of running different NC races in the off-season is a great idea, but opening the entry list to everyone will inevitably cause problems with performance. Especially when certain people allowed in show a level of maturity found on the primary school playground. The entry list should be every current F1RWRS team invited to enter, and then working down the waiting list in order from first to last, until the slots are filled.

Secondly, NC races are a great idea, but lets try and keep them remotely realistic? Most F1RWRS races end with fewer than 10 cars finishing and that's over a race of two hours. Unless you seriously tamper with the performance files, which I would be strongly against, then it's obvious what's going to happen. And at night? Are headlights optional?

Also, TMLW, the Jones livery is almost done. I'll link to it here later tonight.

MRT will skip the French GP, as we're already gonna be in for an expensive weekend as it is at Indy.

Speaking of which, what on earth convinced you doing Finland and France before the Bud 800 was a good idea, Klon?

Nope. Plaza is already signed to Gauthier. You can have James Davies, though. Well, assuming Shinobu Katayama doesn't veto that...

The length did not stop you from entering the Nordschleife race last year which was 200 km longer than this one. Furthermore, due to GP2's nature the reliabilty will not be worse than on a 320 km race since it will be in-game not much more than that. That night idea was stupid though, I forgot that most of the Circuit de la Sarthe is not illuminated. It is now a proper day race.

Doctors strictly forbid testing in the off-season outside Official Test Sessions; you should listen to them

After a bit of thinking, I've picked my driver lineup for the French GP:

7: Thomas De Bock/Laurent Seron
8: Aurelien Moll/Gregor Pascal

Albertini and Swerts both compete in the Baltic Sea Grand Prix (so does Seron, but in a Dofasco...), so I though it would only be fair to give a chance to the other two here.

I need four drivers , eh? So:

31: Dave Anderson/Poppy Whitechapel (subject to EL's approval)
32: Steven Mackintosh/Mustafa Kurniawan

Nah, HRT don't care if a signed driver doesn't want to race for us in NC races, plus it gives an oppurtunity for our young drivers to see if they're any good.

Right I need some help with GP4 Builder folks, the editing for the livery was going fine, until it stopped letting me upload new textures into the program. It came up with some French error message, the texture wouldn't appear, but when I tried re-adding it, all I'd be told was that it was already in the list when in fact there was nothing there. Now as far as I can tell, nothing has changed in the .tga file at all except my edits to the livery. Each time I'd make some edits, copy the file, paste it into the GP4 folder and upload it into the program. This worked fine for a good while, but it now refuses point blank with that texture. I've tried editing it again, copying it, re-naming it, everything. Nothing seems to work! Help!

Can you do "replace texture" in GP4Builder? I use ZModeler to preview liveries, so I can't help out too much with that...

Okay, I threw together some mediocre all-orange Boxtel liveries together for the GP4 non-championship race. Judging from AndreaModa's problems, these may not work, but I certainly hope they do.

#23 - Andrea Battani's livery
#24 - Jari Kekkonen's livery
#63 - Johannes Rueckert's livery
#64 - Richard Hershall's livery

With Jones not entering, Rosco Vantini is itching to race and is willing to listen to offers.

Saeed Al Faisal is also keen to go out on a bang.
