In other news, Ephran One Jnr (otherwise known as Eff One), the little-known driver/journalist, has died in the past week. The cause of death is currently unknown. His sole recent start was for Foxdale in the recent F3RWRS Invitational race alongside Martin McFry, to add to his race career prior to his journalism for 'F1 News' in the 1990s. Condolences go to his widow and his children (whom he often referred to as his 'little Effers').

A proposal, called Melrose Plan after it's designer and regular Tropico visitor Daniel Melrose, was leaked to the public, was however rejected due to the significant change to the island required.

Now, we have learned that the accepted proposal which cosisted of parts of the Melrose Plan and using actual roads will not be realised either due to funds having run out for updating the streets in the capital of La Maravilla to raceable conditions. According to our sources, the team has contacted the F1R Council in request of financial support but a decision on that matter is not expected until mid-2015 which would mean that the track would at best see its debut in the 2018 F1RWRS season.

Next time, at least paint them something suitably rejectful like dayglo orange or something like that
