There's no need to apply for one. As far as the majority of us are concerned, if you qualify under the criteria, you automatically get on. Unless the supreme overlord has other ideas

If I remember correctly, he wasn't best pleased with the results of the Luxembourg Grand Prix, so that might cause him to deny Cannon one.

It's endurance racing. Literally anything can happen. Well, except for Peugeot beating Audi in a straight fight but that's another story

If he does, then he'll probably deny one for Seron, which means I'll be screwed when it comes to my reserve driver :|

There's some French guy by the name of Sebastian Groves that might fit the bill quite nicely. Problem is I don't know if that'll put Mr McClean over the limit or not.

The reason the Luxembourg GP results was odd was apparently due to the randon-number-generator thing in GP2. Look at the 1994 F1RGP2C Brazilian GP for instance. :)

And BTW, I have a self-imposed avatar challenge because of Melrose not going to Sunshine

Nah, it wasn't the generator that was the problem. It's just the data that went into it in the first place was absolute rubbish

On a slightly different note, with Damon Cannon looking increasingly likely to get the second Autodynamics seat, here are all the spots that are left:

Second Sunshine seat
Second Boxtel seat (Yeah, good luck trying to find someone willing to take it up  )
Second Dofasco seat
Both Shonan seats
Second Simpson seat for Race 1

Markus Van de Schoot (pay driver) would like to offer his services for all of these drives.

I've got Steele, Marchesi and Nash working right now. Kekkonen is "retired" (I meant for an alternative career championship to go around him, but I've gotten far too lazy for my own good), so I'm well under the limit. You could hire Groves if you wanted to, trouble is, he might have problems getting out of his contract in ROLFS.

Seeing as if Simpson Motorsports is becoming MRT's junior team with a different name, or just a house for MRT related drivers to race in, then Alessandro Marchesi is interested in racing for Simpson for the one-off race thanks to Macklin's penalty.

I have no reason to ban Cannon now as he qualified for a license like it or not (I don´t mind, before you ask)

The reason he was denied a license before is that he simply didn´t meet any criteria. That´s it.

The original plan for 2015 was that I'd be driving full-time for a final year before retiring from F1RWRS competition, but with the signing of Melrose as first driver alongside his protege Mitchell Macklin, I'm announcing my retirement will come after one final race at Adelaide, where Macklin will be serving his one race ban from the F2RWRS race at Indianapolis. I also can confirm that we'll not be using a naturally aspirated version of the P89 this season, because I think the speed advantage that engine held last season will completely be taken away without the turbo.

Well, the plan was that:

1. the official team name would be Foxdale Auto Racing Team with/in assoication with West Cliff Racing; and that
2. the team would be known as Foxdale in F1RWRS and as West Cliff in all other series.

But West Cliff Foxdale does sound fine to me, so that is what it shall be. For the Wiki writers and those who care about such things, it is a continuation of Foxdale, which themselves were a continuation of AMR and MAN. The remenants of West Cliff (the 2010/11 F1RWRS team) have been bought up by this team.

I have an annoucement to make regarding wet carsets: From next season, due to the difficulties of handling two completely different carsets as this year, the rain carset will be made as it follows:

-- An average BHP will be calculated, and teams above that average will see 50% of their power decreased respecting the average. For example: If average power is 600, and Team A is 700, then the power for Team A will be 650 for the wet carset.
-- No changes will be made to driver abilities regarding the dry carset. A driver will have same abilities in dry & wet conditions.
-- The Random Grip Range for every driver will be +1000 regarding the Dry Carset.

Chris Dagnall not happy with Tropico management:

Rumours are that Chris Dagnall isn´t too happy with Tropico management. The reason behind would be that Dagnall would be seeking for a more competitive pay driver than Darren Older Jr to partner Nathan Scott. He was quoted as saying to a Russian newspaper: "The situation with Nathan is not ideal. We know Tropico will do a big effort to build a car capable of qualifying, but what´s the point if both drivers don´t deliver?". Chris Dagnall was unavailable to comment on this words.

This year, the wet carset was done following these two rules:

-- The average rule, which I already explained in my proposal
-- Every driver getting a variation in performance of +/- 500, randomly calculated at the start of the season.

I think the new wet carset calculation will be more fair, because it won´t depend on that randomly performance variation and will depend more on the random grip factor.

Oh and, mostly for admin purposes, for several teams, I've added test drivers which I know are:
A. Owned by the team owner and
B. Hold a valid Reject License

Since they're merely test/reserve drivers, I can easily change it at one's request.

You mean Sebastian Groves? Technically, he's not my driver but I believe the kid deserves a seat in the F1RWRS. Seriously, anyone that can haul that crapbox of a 2014 Dofasco onto the grid in his very first race for the team deserves Melrose's respect.

But for that to happen, you may need to negotiate with Pointrox as he's got a contract with Groves in the RoLFS for 2015. And since Mr McClean is well under the limit, it should be fine from his point of view.

EDIT: And with that, we now simply have the second Boxtel and Sunshine seats to go.

Following a rather obnoxious mail for FMecha, I am here to try and piss him off by announcing that the second seat will inevitably be filled by Daniel Martins after having signed probably one of the worst paid contract F1RWRS has ever seen. I have nothing against James Davies and would normally prefer him but since I must 'hurry up', I chose the easiest way. Seriously, I want to keep my team but it is not my fault that recently I have been lacking the time to come here. :|

And now, for the $64 million dollar question. Had Melrose not gone to Simpson yesterday, would you have chosen him over Martins?

EDIT: Personally, I would have gone for Jesus Plaza over Martins. Simply because Plaza's less likely to become Katayama's whipping boy.
