Yes, the Chris Dagnall is heading for a comeback! Chris Dagnall, who retired after the 2013 F1RWRS season, is eyeing a return for the 2015 season. But with Mark Dagnall and Ron Mignolet already in the seats at DGNgineering, Chris Dagnall's last team, Dagnall has to look elsewhere. So, there is no other place to look for than Boxtel Engineering, the new team which also has the only available seat in the paddock.
We recently interviewed Damon Coulthard, the self-proclaimed agent of the Dagnall twins, about this. "It's all too simple, really," said Damon. "The reason why Chris Dagnall is mounting a comeback is to pad his retirement fund, since he blew all his money on funding the 2014 championship winning car, the CD-02. He'll sign with a small team like Boxtel to get to terms with the current cars. Then he'll sign with a big team in 2016 where he will stay for about three years building on his impressive win count, and definitely contend with the championship from 2016-18." When asked about which team Dagnall might sign with in 2016, Damon simply said "Scuderia Alitalia." When asked about contract negotiations with Boxtel, Damon replied that "although we haven't gotten in contact with the team, we're confident that Boxtel is 100% interested and we believe they will sign within a month. It's a win-win situation, Dagnall gets to drive, while Boxtel gets to obtain lots of sponsorship money, which can be used to build a better car."
Our sports analyst (name withheld) said that Boxtel should have a strong year with Dagnall, and have better years as they go on building better cars. Whatever the case, Boxtel Engineering definitely has a strong future in F1RWRS!

Audi's sporting division, Audi Sport, has announced it's leaving Le Mans Series with immediate effect, as well as stopping development of the new R20 e-tron, to focus on their work with the FRWRS, as official partners to Aeroracing Engineering, and working with Dofasco in F2RWRS.
"After achieving so many success during the last 16 years, including multiple Le Mans 24H wins, we feel it's time to move forward to our next challenge: the FRWRS. We're ready to step our game up and show the prowess that took us to the top of many motorsport categories around the globe, such as sporstcar racing, touring car racing and rallying", an Audi Sport spokeswoman declared.
The Audi Sport facilities will also be destined exclusively for the FRWRS operation, including the option of sharing development of Aeroracing's cars whenever the geographical situation of races makes it a viable option.

Nathanael Spencer, the 2011 F1RWRS champion, has apparently signed a one-year contract with Boxtel Engineering, the team announced today. Spencer has agreed to a contract that will make him the third-highest paid driver on the grid. Both parties have agreed in principle to the deal and Spencer is expected to sign tomorrow morning after he complained of a severe migraine during negotiations. The signing comes as a huge shock to many people including Jesus Plaza, the incumbent driver. He was promised the driver in 2014 by ARC but Boxtel has clearly broken the agreement. The signing is also a shock to Spencer's critics who have lampooned Spencer's wet-weather skills for years.
Boxtel Called Dagnall's Agent, to no Avail
Boxtel has confirmed the recent news report from the International Beacon which stated that Chris Dagnall had been contacted by the Boxtel team. However, the Boxtel was actually asked for a recipe for chilled cucumber soup to serve at a dinner for sponsors. Dagnall declined.

HRT reveal 2015 liveryThe Holden Racing Team has today revealed their new livery at a press event at their Melbourne base. Shown on last year's car, the livery is this year a majority grey with red, navy and gold highlights. "This livery is designed to be a link between Holden and GRM, after our two F1RWRS operations merged," said HRT team principal Mark Skaife. However, it is obvious how there are very few sponsors on this year's car, with only Holden, Valvoline, Rockstar and Mobil on the cars this year.

The International Beacon wrote:HOLDEN RACING TEAM TO BE BOUGHT OUT BY ALITALIA???
Given that HRT is losing sponsors fast, it might be time for the team to call it a day. Although their 2015 entry is confirmed there are rumours that F1RWRS President Derrick Prieto might limit the number of entries in the series from 20 teams to 14 (we got the source from an anonymous tipster), so the president might kindly talk some teams to join F2RWRS.
However, Alitalia boss Alexander Lindsey has claimed that he might buy out Holden and merge the two teams together out of sympathy for the smaller teams. We found it quite strange that Lindsey was without any alcohol in sight, and that he wasn't drunk, or that we met the guy at a lawyer's office in London, but nonetheless, he did assure us that Holden and Alitalia were merging.
However, as we went into both factories, both of their spokespersons laughed at us when we told us of this potential news breaker. Both parties declined to comment. All that we can say is, there's probably a conspiracy theory going around here!

Just a heads up people, I'm going to be away until next Sunday on holiday so if chassis/engine lists are published, I'd like to state clearly now that Jones Racing intend to stick with their current engine/chassis combo and I'll announce where I'll be investing my credits when I'm back, if we've reached that stage.
Off to the Isle of Man in case anyone is wondering (sorry dr-baker!).

I won't probably publish te engine/chassis list until mid august, the soonest. For the 2015 season, the chassis/engine list will be published before the market opens, an I will post the dates in which the market will be open to avoid cases like Shizuka last season.

Can you try to make it before the 24th August please, because I'll be going on holiday then, and as soon as I'm back on the 10th I'll be passed out all week on alcohol so I'll only be sobered up enough to make decisions on like the 18th or 19th...
