That reserve seat's got to be getting pretty crowded by now.

It's a theory that seems to make sense in Klien's case, but do you really think they've got Sakon lined up for a 2011 seat in place of either Chandhok or Senna? Seems pretty unlikely to me.

Believe, when they manage to get the services of Jacques Villeneuve, then they'll fire Yamamoto and Tealy's conspiracy theory will be compounded.

Except drive in the NASCAR Sprint Cup almost every single week...

Why the hell hasn't Plamen Kralev been signed up yet?

I thought Klien could have got a test seat at a better team, he was a decent driver in F1.

He got his only race drives by being a pay-driver (bringing Red Bull money to Jaguar, which helped him secure the seat a year later when they took over the whole team).

I've - literally - just finished interviewing Christian for my site, which I've published.

Very frank and honest man, and very funny as well. I think he's had a bad run of luck in his F1 career, and certainly deserves better than his results have suggested.

Bad news folks, it seems the inevitable might just be coming true...

Ecclestone says he's on the case, but with Senna's rumoured chassis problems this weekend, how long are they realistically going to last?

Except celebrate them forever on these pages.

The solution should be obvious: get Epsilon involved. Then, give the vacant 13th place to ART Grand Prix. Jean Todt then single-handedly turns his predecessor's mistake into a massive win, because the four newest teams will all be born out of (or at least associated with) dedicated racing teams: Manor Motorsport, Litespeed F3 (I'm willing to bet that Gascoyne's T127 design was originally intended for the Litespeed-Lotus project, which is how they got it out so quickly), Epsilon Euskadi and ART Grand Prix.

Without sponsors, or a way to get them on a near future, obviously they're not going to last beyond this season. Having pointed out the obvious...
The Mummy wrote:"People praise Lewis Hamilton's overtaking but you don't get any points for passing cars."

They should begin. That would be fantastic.
"Yes, I miss having Flav about the place. He is good company and he was good for this sport. People associated him with F1. He was a character.

Why didn't you avoid him being slaughtered by Mad Max then?

Smart idea, because if Epsilon get in and by some miracle HRT make it to next year, they'll be fighting over the same stuff, pitching the same idea - Spanish team, new exposure and all that. By combining the two it removes the competition and makes the likelihood of success much more probable. Chances are though we'll just see Epsilon directly replacing HRT which is a shame as they really could have made the Dallara chassis work.. :( :(

Everyone who said that Hispania won't be able to make a car in 2011 eat your heart out

The final announcement concerning this will come out at or around the timeframe of the Canadian Grand Prix

True; there is no better proof then actually seeing them turn up with the car. I think that as things stand, the team's finances are frail enough that we have to consider the possibility that they will collapse at the end of the season is quite possible.
