Unless he ends up driving for Ferrari this isnt really an unpopular F1 Opinion. However...

Valentino Rossi is a funny looking bugger.

Before 2002, CART required more driving talent than F1 did, but F1 requires greater engineering than any other form of motorsport.

HWNSNBM used to be to Paul Stoddart what Sakon Yamamoto is to Colin Kolles.

More interestingly, should we tell Paul Stoddart to come back here?

Horray for resurrecting old posts! :D

---

Jacques Villeneuve is a great F1 driver. However, his choice to even go to BAR was stupid. He probably would have had a better career in Minardi.

Flav is an idiot for releasing Jarno Trulli.... in favour of a rusty JV.

Flav ruined Nelson Piquet's Jr's career... he could have actually done something.

Rosberg will never win a race.

Schumacher will never win another race.

Bernie Ecclestone is an idiot.

Max Mosely is an idiot.

Christian Horner is an idiot after not handling the Turkey 2010 situation "well." But he got his ego back after clinching the constructors anyways.

I still hate Christian Horner.

Fernando Alonso needs to be exterminated, as to Colin Kolles needs to go home.

I still think Sebastian Vettel as the clumsy fool.

How did Kimi Raikkonen get a super licence despite not having many racing starts in other leagues before hand?

How did Yuji Ide get a licence at all?

Sadly, I think you might be right here. Rosberg is quite good, but he's like Heidfeld in that I cannot for the life of me think of one performance where he clearly gave 100% and then some.

Post-1999 at BAR, he actually did quite well. The cars were never podium material but he'd still get a 3rd or 4th every now and then.

The BAR 001 had a better livery than the Honda, but the Winfield is better than the Honda and the BAR.

You're better off with the Lotus 107.

He was super quick in 2000, battling for 4th best team along with Benetton. Him and Fisichella were driving the wheels off their cars whilst Zonta and Wurz were tied for DBTMOTY.

Post-2002, Sebastien Bourdais showed he was an awesome driver, but the problem was that the rest of the field was so bad it really didn't become apparent how good he actually was.

I hate Williams. They're the Dale Junior of F1, lots of annoying fanboys. They're not real racers and I love that they signed Pastor Maldonado. Despite that...

...Rubens Barrichello is the greatest driver to never win a World Championship.

Kamui Kobayashi and Vitaly Petrov are the only two racers in F1, and their talent is being wasted in F1, when they should be in a racer's league -- like the IRL.

F1 needs crappier drivers in order to have better racing.

I would say that that title belongs to Stirling Moss. Rubens is quite good, but I believe he has a relatively minor case of Fisichellaitits which prevents him from showing his full potential in a top car.

I'd also rank Gerhard Berger above Rubens Barrichello in greatest drivers never to win the title.

I'd concur with that - Berger was actually the only-non champion to win a race in 1986, 87 or 88!!! Oh and 1994 too!
