Are you allowed to test at the non-F1 circuits?

Last time I checked, Donington was not an F1 circuit, but we ran there just fine last time.

Round 4: Monaco

Race

It was raining until about 1 h befor the GP startet. That track was still a bit wet but a few teams tryed it and startet on slicks. Williams, Arrows and de Cesaris in the Brabham. After the first lap Piquet was leading Prost and Senna with Alesi 4th and Nakajima 5th. Boutsen hold his 9th position on slick tyres while Modena was struggling a bit. The positions didn't really changed until lap 12. After this Boutsen startet to lap faster and faster. He managed to overtake a few drivers and was in 6th position after lap 25. Piquet was stil leading Prost and Senna. Than pretty much all drivers had to pit, except those on slicks. Boutsen managed to get in 2nd position right behind Prost. Piquet had a terrible stop ending up in 5th poosition behind Häkkinen. Boutsen chased Prost. He could have gone much faster because Prost had a wet-weather set up. Boutsen manged to get Prost passed at the harbor and ran fastest lap a few laps later. He drove the race of his life. Prost was under pressure from Senna who also chased him but have to give up close to the end because his engine gave up. So Boutsen won in front of Prost and Häkkinen who gained his second podium in a row.

Another podium finish is music for my ears :) Well done, Mika, you are future champion!

However, Arnoux was way off the pace he needs to keep his seat. We are giving him just 2 more rounds and if he does not improve - he will be sacked (and Damon Hill will come instead as second Arrows driver).
To finish first, first you have to finish!

Nope, not GPM2. It would've been impossible anyway as GPM2 only supports 13 teams and 26 cars.

Thats right. Played a lot GPM2 but in the past there is abit of lack in the comunity. Btw i would have to edit very much things to run this, even with 13 teams.

McLaren will test at Le Castellet after Monaco. Prost and Alesi will concentrate on testing a new design of rear wing while Schneider will keep the development of the sequential gearbox up.

Round 5 Canada

Race

It was a exciting sunday aftrenoon here at Montreal. At the start Prost was leading in front of Alesi and Piquet. The Mclaren's where so fast that the gap between Alesi and Piquet was 35 seconds after 28 laps. Alesi was just 1 second behind Prost. Behind Piquet there was already a little traffic jam. Boutsen was in Piquets gearbox since the star, but he couldn't overtake the 3 times world champion. Behind Boutsen was Senna and Berger. After the pit stops Prost was still leading but Alesi was just behind him. Piquet lost his 3rd place by making a very slow pit stop. As Senna damaged his Suspension in the last chicane Berger was now 3rd because he didn't made a pitstop. Boutsen was 4th and Piquet 5th. Michele Alboreto drove a perfect race and managed to go up on 6th place without a pitstop. With only 2 laps to go the engine of the chased world champion Alain Prost failed. This caused that Jean Alesi won his first GP.

1 Jean Alesi (Meclaren-Honda) 1:45:38.524

Compared to real-life the all cars seem too reliable.

Tyrrell would like to thank Honda because had Prost's engine lasted the distance we wouldn't have a point, hopefully thats the start of some more

Thierry Boutsen is the championship leader! This is the best thing! :D

Though, Modena's performance was very disappointing. He may have won a race, but with Wendlinger's testing pace, he needs to be matching Boutsen in races at least if he wants to remain a Williams driver.

EDIT: Following (thanks, peteroli) the Mexican Grand Prix, Williams will stop over at Road America to test the following:

Car 1: Power Steering
Car 2: Front Wing
Car 3: Rear Wing
