sorry I'm arriving a bit late to this discussion, but how did you manage to organise the interview with him?
It could provide some useful hints for the "interview a driver in your own country" thread in the other forum

It's not that hard i also just emailed Giovanni Lavaggi.
If you just show interst in the driver he will answer
Deffently the rejected drivers because there also other stories we never hear about.
