I am blind.
Anyway,McLaren would like to bring in Gilles Villeneuve back in from Scuderia Ferrari to be their lead driver.
Also, will this season have that bathplugging awful points system in which the year is practically split into half?

Sorry WaffleCat, Gilles has been dibbed by JeremyMcClean in the F1RWSOGMM Thread. And no, the points system will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, and all results will count for the championship.

Also, BlindCaveSalamander and Ferrarist, can you please name your second drivers.

There are two more gird slots (at most) available if anyone wants them. You can enter FW06s or Lotus 80s

Merzario has secured title sponsorship from Sardinian oil refining company Saras S.p.A. for the 1979 season. The extra cash injection will secure both cars racing in every grand prix for the season, ending fears rookie Guidetti would be forced to sit out parts of the season with lack of finance.

You will have to ask EastLondoner because he controls Wolf and Hunt. Clay Regazzoni is free though

He'd rather sign for a run down team than Ferrari?
Suit yourself.
Ferrari will now sign Rene Arnoux. Regazzoni might be a good option but I believe his days are running down...

Apologies, been out for the day having just sat the second of my three final year exams!
Harvey Jones is British, and in case it isn't painfully obvious, he's the father of one infamous Sammy Jones!
Also, if it's possible, I'd like to enter a privateer FW06 for gentleman driver Marshall Jenkins (again British).

Privateers are not allowed so that at every race there isn't a hundred people trying to qualify. You can enter a team of FW06s if you'd like

Righto, in which case I'll enter a team of FW06s!
Jenkins Industries F1 Team

Driver 2: Open to anyone with a wadful of cash and/or connections in the soft porn industry. (I would have had James Hunt if he hadn't already been taken!)

for 2 teams or 2 cars? In he second case, i have to veto Jenkins Industries second car, as RAM racing wanted to get in first! (but a joint-venture between both teams is fine too)
in the first case, i'll enter 2 lotus', driver 1: Lammers, driver 2 would be the one and only Gianfranco Brancatelli
