Man, this is just as tense as waiting for the start of the Bathurst 1000. Which, incidentally, isn't just a great race. It is THE Great Race

Eh, the fact that video is 7 minutes long with 6 mintues until the market opens wouldn't be a distraction ploy now would it?

I get the distinct feeling that, with 5 minutes to go, every team owner is fixated at the computer clocks on their screen, every second taking an eternity.
Damon Cannon waits with nerves fraying, wondering what car he's getting for the season.

Possibly. I posted the link with 9 minutes to go anyway
Although, if you have Windows 7 like I do, you could splitscreen it and watch it perfectly fine

Do not forget that Aerond must declare the market open.

Market open. Yay
Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.
Re: F1RWRS -- 2015 Season
Well, since we are ready to go now, I choose to sell my chassis and my engine, allowing me to get me those pathetic 5 credits I miss for the budget cap. With this, I buy the following:
Tropico Grand Prix powered by CR Motorsport
Chassis - Minardi M187
Engine - Judd GV10
Which costs me 950 credits, leaving me at 50. With tommykl's permission, I'd like to make this combination slightly more in-universe by having the engine renamed to "Gillet GV10" just like his, with the obvious implication that it is a customer engine.

Simpson Motorsports will use (if these aren't already taken by the time this is posted):
Engine: Yamaha OX10A (650cr)
Chassis: Onyx ORE-2 (350cr) - though I'll be open to offers from any team who wants to sell their chassis for 350cr.

Re: F1RWRS -- 2015 Season
I will sell the Ligier JS33 (+200 credits) and purchase the Benetton B191 (-900 credits)
Re: F1RWRS -- 2015 Season
Sunshine engines choices are:
1- Ford Zetec-R
2- Yamaha OX10A
3- Isuzu P799
The team will retain the current chassis as was agreed when the DPT bought Sunshine.

Gillet Ecurie Nationale Belge
Chassis - RAM 03
Engine - Judd GV10
Tyres - Continental
Drivers:
7: Aurelien Moll
8: Thomas De Bock
Just to clarify and confirm that nothing will change. Not like anyone else would take the RAM or the Judd anyway...

West Cliff/Foxdale will be trading in their Simtek S491 chassis for a Jordan 191 chassis. They will retain their Renault RS1 engine.

BTW this type of market operation should never be allowed EVER AGAIN. I asked for Benetton B191s six minutes ago, but the forum has slowed to a crawl, and after my post was forced into a queue behind everyone else (?????) Jeremy McClean basically queue-jumped his way to them. I took the 191s when I noticed his post saying "new posts have been made since bla bla bla".
I hope the market never operates like this ever again. It is a total farce. It isn't even first come first served. It's first come first whoever the server decides to accept posts from first.

Nah. The DGNgineering car will (ironically ) be significantly more unreliable than the MRT, especially when my latest upgrades go through. Speaking of which, Rhys, I've just given you 150 credits to spend on Davies. Knock yourself out
I'll update the list on the wiki over the course of the morning

Umm... you never asked for the B191s. Your post CLEARLY says you bought the Jordan 191s.
Well no f*cking sh*t Einstein, didn't you read the post? I wrote that I wanted B191s, hit post, got one of those annoying messages that shows new posts made just before you hit submit. On seeing that, IMMEDIATELY hit sumbit again, got ANOTHER "new post" notification, hit submit AGAIN and got bumped behind Jeremy McClean's post in the "new post" notification page. So basically I spent two minutes hitting sumbit and waiting for the post to sumbit to the thread, and during that time JMC sneaked in ahead of me because he got lucky. I'm not going to begrudge JMC that chassis, it wasn't his fault, but it was a bad idea to overload the forum with traffic by making every team boss post at exactly the same time. When I saw his post, I rapidly bailed on the B191s and quickly switched to Jordan 191s as a Plan B. Thankfully, despite another two cases of "new post" notifications, I finally got it in before anyone else.
Hence why this was a stupid system.
