Thank you very much!

(I just noticed BMW supplied 3 teams in 1986...so I'll put one more contract out there.)

Fair enough. Will we get more money from prize winnings?

Also, do we automatically get Ferrari engines?

Yeah, Ferrari will automatically supply you and may supply another team. And yes, there'll be some money dished out halfway through the season. I'll sort upgrades a bit later on.

Ok, Mansell will cost you £4M.

Minardi will take BMW engines.

Minardi is interested in signing Andrea de Cesaris, Alessandro Nannini and Ivan Capelli.

AGS will take Renault engine and Ivan Capelli. As for second driver - we are still looking and hoping de Crasheris would not find any other place.

  • Drivers (in order of preference): Patrese, Warwick, Dumfries, Cheever, Tambay

As AGS have made a concrete offer for Capelli, Nannini and de Cesaris would like to join Minardi.

As mentioned, de Cesaris can bring £1M, and Nannini would cost you £500k at this stage.

Marlboro would prefer de Cesaris at Minardi, having the distinction of being an Italian driver at an Italian team.

Renault and Capelli's ok though.

The current BMW and Honda allocations are taken. There's still Renault, Ferrari, Ford, Alfa, Hart and Motori Moderni available though.

Patrese would cost you £2.5M, Dumfries would bring £500K, Cheever would cost you £750K and Tambay would cost you £1.2M.

Is Satoru Nakajima available (i know he entered in 87) and is he a pay driver?

PS I saw i have 1,75 mln, but Capelli is 500k and Renault - 3,5 mln, which means i should have 2mln.

Yes, you're quite right...

I was intending to use Nakajima as a Honda bargaining tool for next season...but there's no harm in using him now, I guess. I'll say he's got £250k to bring to you.

By the way, I'd like to ask if I could change the name of my team? Or rather, the main sponsor of the team. IIRC, BMW didn't like tobacco sponsors, which is why Williams had to abandon their Winfield sponsorship in 2000. Thus, I'd like to rename my team "Warsteiner Zakspeed-BMW Racing". Thank you!

Well, I'm trying to keep things realistic here. But I don't want others to scratch away their tobacco sponsors ;).

Off-topic, but I just realized that Ultimate Racing has West tobacco sponsoring in RoLFS, despite 4 of the 7 racing weekends taking place on British soil (i.e. EU terrain)...

Well, BMW supplied Arrows in 1986, and they had Barclay sponsorship. You can rename your team that way, but don't worry too much...

You've got your drivers too.
