JLD Motorsport will like to apply for the works Hyundai slot. JLD Motorsport has been around since 1968, and is currently a part of the MRT Group, which includes teams such as Melrose Racing Team, Horizon Motorsport and Douglas-Cliff Racing. The team has previously worked with manufacturers such as Porsche, Mercedes and, most recently, BMW as work-supported teams over the years.
Our track record is exemplary within the world of Motorsport, having won races in a multitude of categories including the F1RWRS, F2RWRS, F3RWRS, IndyCar and CART, as well as having run entries in Formula One, The Life GP Series, Touring Car championship and GTR World Championship, where we have one independent-class races. As a group, the MRT Group have previously won titles in the F1RWRS and F2RWRS, and are currently one of the most successful teams in the category's history, even though we've had issues of our own along the way.

Henri Racing Technologies will be willing to apply for the works Lada slot. Henri Racing Technologies is a very ambitious new outfit who is striving to be a great team. The team owner Jean-Phillipe Henri may be fairly new to the gig of being a team principal, but the team he has built around him have full faith in him to bring the team to the top. The team have always had faith in themselves and always strive to do better. Jean-Phillipe has already got a team in the Rejectrucks Super Series and he always has good drivers at hand. One in particular is Jukka-Pekka Kankaanpää, who has shown his hand in the RTSS, even if luck wasn't on his side. We feel that Lada is a good fit as we know we probably aren't going to be championship runners, but we have the ambition to fight up front with the larger manufacturers and the team are all up for doing their best to enhance the reputation of the Lada brand. For these reasons mentioned, we feel Lada is the best choice for our team to thrive in a racing environment.

Autodynamics Rally Group is hoping to take the Suzuki works team role, this orginisation is a 51% owned subsidiary of the Autodynamics Racing F1RWRS Team. The staff will mostly be made up of ex RBWRT staff who have moved after that team decided to downsize for 2017. The whole team is confident that this will be a good offer for both sides and tha we have potential to be competitive from the very start. Just look at how Autodynamics in F1RWRS turned around from DNPQ victims to regular points scorers this year.

Rally Boxtel would like to make a bid for the Ford manufacturer slot. We have operated the Boxtel Engineering team in the F1RWRS for a full season and is midway through their second season of operation. We have established ourselves as a competent and efficient organization capable of running teams across multiple levels of motorsport. We currently operate the Eryx Grand Prix team in the Rejectrucks Series, Tarantino Autosport in the IFRC and Dreadnought Racing in the F1RICS (all of which have been recently unified under Boxtel's banner). We also own a cycling team. The Boxtel Group would like to expand their enterprises to the rally scene, and we feel that Ford would be the best works partner for our efforts. Boxtel currently uses Ford engines in the F1RWRS and we would like to extend our partnership with them in this new series.
If Ford says no, we'll apply for the Lada slot.

Onyx will seek the position of Great Wall factory team. This is the organization that has made an existence off of mergers in IndyCar and is a reliable figure in non-RWRS completion in series such as IndyCar, RTCC, and RSTC. Simply, Onyx is a tin-top organization for the most part outside of IndyCar. Rallying is certainly a tin top series. If a RWRS team offers the position, we will demote to an independent team.

Unión Saver Developments would like to enter as part of the Hyundai structure, either as the main factory team or independant. USD have a presence in all motorsports fields, as open wheelers, tin tops and GT's. Contender for the title in the GTRWRC, expanding it's operation into CART, and increasing results in LGPS mark a battling team of youngsters ready for any challenge. With a extensive driver programme, we can supply whatever's needed for the new RRT series.

Loyer Technologie Engenieering would like to apply for the Ford forks slot. Our at Neudau, Austria, is big enough to handle a task like this. Although our Team Owner Hermann Loyer isn't really experience when it comes to rally's he would be the perfect man for this task. Why? He is very talented in scouting young drivers and can show them several methods in order to boost theyr driving skills. Hermann Loyer is a very close friend of Ditrich Mateschitz(Red Bull Owner) and has easy access to the Red Bull Ring(On-Road testing). And last but not least: he watched a few rally's back in the 90's(on TV....)!

Commonwealth Racing would like to express its interest in this new rally series. Though we have had no involvement in RWRS to date, Commonwealth is highly driven and motivated to stake a place for itself in this highly-competitive environment.
We have no interest in making absurd and impossible claims regarding our ambitions or our performance; we are a new outfit, and we will run into setbacks. Our primary objective for this season, should we earn a slot, is simply to learn, for the purposes of building a stronger foundation for a future campaign. We will be candid and dedicated partners to any manufacturer willing to support us in a customer role. We will relentlessly strive for success, irrespective of the obstacles we may encounter. We will not flag. We will not fail.

Considering there's a works Ford slot up for grabs, naturally I'm interested.
Jones Racing Group would formally like to submit a bid to manage, develop and operate the works Ford team in the RRT. The Group was founded in 2011, and has competed in the F1RWRS for six consecutive years, the longest of any driver-established team in the series. Alongside consistently impressive results in the F1RWRS, having won at least one race every year, Jones Racing Group also operates a network of junior teams in lower formulae, as well as its own driver development programme. Currently these teams compete in the F2RWRS, F3RWRS and IFRC. The Group has been the official works partner to Ford in the F1RWRS since 2015 and is committed to this partnership for the long term. It has given excellent exposure to Ford, with the team finishing runner-up in the 2015 F1RWRS season with its drivers second and third in the championship, and has enjoyed a good start to the first half of 2016. Alongside the facilities that the Jones Racing Group has to offer at its state-of-the-art facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire, it makes logical sense that Ford should partner with the same team that has provided it with so much success, publicity and marketing exposure in the premier single-seater racing category in the world, the F1RWRS.

I'm a little confused still.
Are you applying to be a manufacturer or a customer team? Manufacturer teams have to sign up now, but those who just wish to run a certain brand of car but not run the whole marque can sit back and wait for the tender process to finish first. You don't need to declare which marque's car you'd like to buy as a customer at this moment in time.

Ahh.
I'm interested in applying for a customer team, in which case, I'll wait for the tender process to end. I was under the mistaken assumption that I'd have to bid for customer slots at this time. At the same time, I wasn't sure on whether or not I'd have to specify a preferred manufacturer.
Thanks for the clarification, and again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Naturally, Restov Racing would be interested in operating and running the works Lada team in the RRT.
Since being founded in 1979, Restov, as Russia's premier racing team, has already worked with Lada on many projects. Our partnership stretches back 36 years, to 1980, when we ran Renault engines that had been reworked by Lada engineers in F1, the pinnacle of open-wheel racing. With these engines, we punched above our weight, and picked up our first podium just 8 races after the teams inception.
Since then, Restov have entered many RWRS-affiliated series', such as F3RWRS, RTCC, RRC, IFRC etc. Wherever possible, in spec series', we have re-badged our engines as Lada's, due to our long-term technical partnership. Recently Restov entered the RRC as well, and as such we happen to have two young, competitive drivers who are more than adept in rally situations. We also have secure, long-term backing from Gazprom, Russia's largest oil company, so money will never be a problem.
We feel that, thanks to our long-term partnership, we should be the logical choice to be the works Lada outfit for this new and exciting series.

Aeroracing Engineering wants to apply for Hyundai. We can bring on the expertise of years of victories in all kinds of race series, of which rallying would be the next logical step. Besides, this could open up a possible future alliance between Hyundai and VAG. Also, we bring substantial backup from Repsol, Dark Dog, McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Co., SanDisk and Camel.

And the works door slams shut!
Here we go, it's time to decide who gets which teams!
PEUGEOT
Peugeot have only received a single tender to run their works operations, Gauthier. While a top flight RWRS operation, Guillaume Gauthier has not had a totally stellar career as team boss, and the trophy cabinet is not as full as Peugeot had so wished. Still though, they're a good operation, and they're probably happy to stick with them, but there's a small chance they might hand back and wait for a bigger fish to be caught.
1-90 Peugeot sign with Gauthier
91-100 Peugeot wait for more bids to come in
The result is...92! To the surprise of many, Peugeot are not satisfied with only having one option. While they are still potentially interested in the Gauthier offer, they feel they have the most to offer of any manufacturer, and want to see what other prep firms might have to offer.
FORD
Another big hitter, Ford have had potential suitors queuing around the block...erm, forest, to try and grab the lucrative works contract. Jones Racing, the works outfit for Ford in single seaters, is expected to take charge of their WRC efforts as well, although Boxtel have also offered their services, another reasonably high-profile offer. While Loyer Tech are enthusiastic, they lack the experience that such a prolific rallying marque demands of their constructor, and an outside shot. Northgate Engineering made an extremely half-arsed effort at wooing Ford, they were not impressed and they don't have much of a reputation to begin with - nothing short of a complete miracle is required for the blue oval to even consider them.
1-75 Ford link up with Jones once again
76 - 95 Ford opt for the also experienced Boxtel
96 - 99 Ford gamble on young enthusiasm with Loyer
100 The man in charge of Ford Europe has a stroke at his desk and accidentally signs the wrong piece of paper, handing the contract to Northgate
The number is...74! Ford were impressed with the Boxtel bid, but they stuck to what was for the most part, the logical choice, and remained attached to their existing works partner Jones Racing.
SUZUKI
Two decent bids here for the Japanese marque - Gerald Pereira Pan-Asia Alliance, while without experience in the top flight RWRS leagues, already have a works Lister contract in their pocket, winning on their third attempt in the GTRWC with the Storm. They've also run Fords in rallying the past, so they are no strangers to building off-roaders. Meanwhile Autodynamics are an up-and-coming team in F1RWRS, however their exploits in the lower leagues have been a little less impressive. They aren't blown away by either offer, but find both acceptable, and have a tough decision to make. They give GPPA a very slight edge as they have a base in nearby Korea, with the extra rally experience as well.
1-52 Suzuki plumps for the Gerald Pereira - Pan Asia Alliance
53 - 100 Suzuki chooses Autodynamics
The result is...10! Suzuki elect to take up the offer from Gerald Pereira - Pan Asia Alliance.
HYUNDAI
This is the most hotly contested for contract in RRT. The Genesis Coupe certainly looks the part, and it has the prep firms extremely enticed. Gerald Pereira Pan Asia Alliance were in early negotiations with the marque, but dropped out early when negotiations with Suzuki ran smoothly. Two big hitters from the RWRS franchise have thrown their hats in the ring - JLD Motorsport and Aeroracing Engineering. While both have good results across many categories, the car division bosses at the Korean firm are worried about JLD's close links to Daniel Melrose, a diagnosed lunatic who has proven to be a very erratic leader. Also on the list are the very credible Union Saver Developments, who run the series-frontrunning Chevrolet programme in GTRWC, and the not so credible Rob Lomas Racing, who botch their machines together in the back of a garden shed.
1-50 Aeroracing Engineering gets the gig
51-80 Despite the Melrose Factor, Hyundai are swayed by JLD's other qualities
81-98 Union Saver Developments are trusted with the Hyundai programme
99-100 Hyundai throw caution to the wind and sign with Rob Lomas Racing
The outcome is...9! Hyundai go down the sensible route and elect to sign with Aeroracing.
LADA
Lada are expanding their motorsport programme further still, after a return to WTCC a few years previously with the Granta. They've now adapted hat same car to RRT, but need a prep firm to churn out more chassis suitable for RRT spec. They have three options; Restov Racing, a native constructor who have had a very long relationship with Lada, spanning all the way back to the 70s, Boxtel Rally, who began negotiations after being snubbed by Ford, and Henri Racing Technologies, an upbeat startup with big ambitions but no so big experience.
1-75 Lada get all nationalistic and plump for Restov
76-95 Lada look outside of Russia and go for Boxtel
96-100 Lada are impressed by HRT's enthusiasm, if not their past experience
And Lada choose...17. Lada does the predictable thing and sticks to Restov for their works dealings.
GREAT WALL
Great Wall are going into the championship hoping for the best. They're adapting the Haval Dakar machine to RRT, so the groundwork is already laid, but they'll need a prep firm to manufacture the spares and any new tubs for the future and possible customers. This means Foxdale having to share its time between F1RWRS and RRT is not as huge an issue as it could be, although having a dedicated prep firm running the squad is appealing, even if that option is with less experience at the top level of racing.
1-60 They choose the more experienced Foxdale team
61-100 They prefer the dedicated attitude of Onyx Racing
Great Wall deliberate, and eventually come up with a decision of...60!!!! Great Wall really didn't feel confident of making a decision either way, but push came to shove and they were eventually persuaded by experience over enthusiasm. They still don't know if they made the right choice, but will wait to see what happens in coming months.
So, this means that the Peugeot works deal is still up for grabs! Any team that applied for another manufacturer and failed are free to make a bid for the Peugeot slot. Anyone who wants a works team and hasn't made a bid at all yet is also welcome to apply. The deadline for Peugeot reapplications will be MONDAY at 2100 GMT. Good luck!

Equipe Gauthier finds Peugeot's hesitance to deal with us a little disconcerting, but nevertheless remain fully committed to the French marque. While our results are not the most spectacular, we really feel our success in the RRC with Peugeot cars is the most relevant racing experience that there is, experience that neither of the other applicants so far have. Furthermore, we feel we have to point out that Autodynamics and Rob Lomas Racing both initally opted for works contracts with manufacturers that are not immediately considering a championship bid. We feel this speaks of their spur-of-the-moment decision in attempting to land the Peugeot works contract.
Also Autodynamics is clearly unable to spell Peugeot correctly, they should clearly be totally discounted from consideration.

JLD would like to point out that 3000 square ft is no larger than the size of a small shop, and is about equivalent to the size of the Mad Uncle's booze bus
With that being said, JLD is about to start a major restructuring program, and is currently reconsidering our participation in the RRT series. We will advise series management of our decision in due course.

Peugeot now has a vast selection of offers to run their works squad. Given the vast number of offers on the table, and the fact Peugeot consider themselves the most prestigious rallying marque, and as such wish for a preparation firm of similar prestige in RWRS to co-operate with.
Peugeot immediately discard offers from Loyer and Rob Lomas Racing, as neither has a proven track record as a manufacturer team anywhere in the higher echelons of RWRS or its affiliated series. They still hold Gauthier in high regard, but now have a selection of serious competitors to consider as well - Boxtel, Autodynamics and Union Saver Developments. However, Peugeot has become aware of Boxtel's negotiations with other manufactures, hurting their chances slightly.
1-40 Peugeot stays nationalistic and goes with Gauthier
41-70 Peugeot goes with the RWRS and rally experience of Boxtel
71-85 Autodynamics are given the nod
86-100 Despite their lack of experience compared to other candidates, Peugeot is impressed with their work with Chevrolet in GTRWC and sign with USD
And, the result is....
19! Despite deliberately waiting it out for more offers, Peugeot decides that none of their new found options have bettered the offer from Gauthier. They sign with the French team immediately!
With that, all the works teams have been signed up. The full sign-up process will begin shortly, with an explanation of what to consider, but until then, just hang on (I'm rather busy this week!)

OK, so, there are still some complications with the RRT system I need to iron out before the customer teams process gets into full swing.
However, for now, instead, the entry process to
RRT² will begin. This is the support class to the main series, where literally anyone can enter, regardless of whether they already have a top tier RRT team or not. They can enter for as many or as few races as they want.
Here's the catch though. RRT² only has one eligible car to compete. These babys;
![Image](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2514/3923041257_8e8aa7b5a1.jpg)
This will be a simplified class. No budgets, no upgrades, one car per team. These cars have a rather low chance of making it to the end of any rally - partially given the age of the car, but mostly because of their hilarious regularity of rolling over and into a nearby ditch. Why enter? If your driver does well, you can have him progress to the main series with a small performance bonus to his stats!
So, to enter
RRT², a.k.a the Trabant Trophy, just send in the following details;
