FMecha, how much you will pay to try get update working?

All drivers nominated to testing by Northgate Engineering, Vasquez Racing Team and Ember Racing OK except Kubica at VRT. We have to wait if Celtic Tiger Racing wants to test him.

You had one driver too much there but since with Kubica you were in the same situation as VRT I just drop him from the list and it's OK.

Timo Glock and Sebastian Vettel have been chosen by four teams now, so the remaining teams are not allowed to choose them.

As already mentioned, Restov will keep di Resta, and also look to test:

Kamui Kobayashi
Andre Lotterer
Alexandre Premat
Sebastien Loeb (if he's allowable :P )
Loic Duval
Robert Wickens

Apologies if any of those drivers are obviously ineligible; I'm a bit woolly at the mo :?

Oh and that upgrade from last season; could that be for top speed please? :)

Euromotor International was in the first reserve spot. I sent a message to FantometteBR. The team has 2,5M of money following 2005 season.

Additionally, I accept Kubica for Northgate Engineering and Vasquez Racing Team testing list, as they were 3rd and 4th team in the queue testing him, and both had a spot free.

For the testing schedule, following changes:
Liqui Target: Kubica to day 1, van der Garde for day 3.
Vasquez Racing Team: Kubica to day 3 in place of Allmendinger.
Northgate Engineering: Kubica to day 4 in place of Ide.

Kubica had very good pace from early on in the test. During the first hour he was half a second faster than anyone else with 1.47,3. Only others to get under 1.48 mark were Parente and Hamilton.

Hamilton improved during the second hour and came within two tenths of Kubica. Other Liqui Target driver Speed was also fast, claiming third spot at that point. Lapierre's Vortex Racing car stopped on the side of the track and his morning session ended prematurely.

Third hour saw Kubica still improve, being fastest of the morning with 1.47,137. Vettel had mechanical problem and his morning was done about 20 minutes earlier than the rest.

After the lunch break several drivers improved, but no one could hit Kubica's morning time. Of the drivers in the new teams, Ryo Fukuda had best speed out there.

di Resta's day was done shortly before halfway of the afternoon session, as his car failed. Meanwhile, promising German driver Vettel, who had struggled a lot in the morning, found great lap with 1.47,5.

In the final hour, Speed confirmed that Liqui Target had found great pace on the first testing day, putting second fastest time of the day. But it was quite close. Winkelhock crashed his car with less than hour to go, but car didn't suffer any permanent damage. Legge had a gentle off in the with about ten minutes left, and the only female driver on the circuit had to stop testing a bit early.

First hour started with several drivers close to each other. Premat was fastest early on. Maldonado, Kubica, Fukuda and Glock were within two tenths. Shimoda spun to the wall early and this stopped his driving until lunch break.

Vettel moved on top of the timesheets during the second hour. Philippe also made a lot of improvement. Kubica improved further, holding second place at that moment.

Maldonado moved to top just before teams got the break. Kubica showed he had no problem with getting accustomed to different teams as he posted second fastest time. Philippe's car stopped during the third hour but the problem was fixed and he continued after missing an hour of running.

Kubica and Maldonado improved further during the fourth hour and at this point it seemed that almost certain that one of them would end the day on top. Indeed this was the case, as Kubica set a time of 1.46,838 at the end. Glock challenged him well and ended the day in 2nd place.

During the afternoon session, four drivers had mechanical troubles and stopped early: Kobayashi, Ide, Green and Winkelhock, which affected their final times.

Two-time World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb also made surprise visit to testing. He impressed quickly, ending the day in top ten, even though he
was slower of two Restov Racing drivers.

The testing started with Hamilton setting the early pace. He improved further in the second hour, with Vettel giving a good challenge. At that point, di Resta and Loeb had to stop their driving due to mechanical troubles. Valsecchi also ran into troubles early in the third hour.

But at the lunch break, Hamilton was fastest, with Nakajima second, Kubica third and Vettel fourth. All were within just over one tenth of a second.

Soon after the break, Hirate moved on top. His team-mate Nakajima was also having a pace and improved within a tenth of him, until Vettel topped the timesheet. However during the last hour, Hamilton became the only driver to get under 1.12. Hirate's car stopped just two minutes before the end of the session.
