Looks like others out of F1 Rejects are already writing Korea off as a Red Bull cakewalk (shows how much they know of F1) but HAM and ROS seem to think otherwise and if Merc can keep it up then it could be a good race

The sites mascot has slowly changed from HWNSNBM to Emma Watson so gradually, I almost didn't notice. I'm not complaining, but does Emma like Papayas?
As for the race, I hope Merc does well this weekend, keep things sort of close in the points table. But then again I don't, because Old Man Minardi will be online "OH MY GOD THEY TOOK OFF THE TC AND CAN'T WIN ANYMORE!!!!!111 LOLCHEATERS!!!!111 SO THOLD YOU GUYS!!!!111"

TYPHOON UPDATE: Typhoon has moved away from Korea, but light to moderate rain showers possible on Sunday.

Your transformation from the girl who did nothing but moan about Vettel leading in Britain and Germany to the girl who now says he doesn't deserve the booing he gets has impressed me a lot. Honestly I thought you were going to be one of those who thought the crowd were right to do it
Anyway Vettel's comments on the Singapore podium have to have fired Rosberg up to beat him and we all know what Lewis is capable of and for overtaking purposes I really hope Mark puts on another awesome drive to liven things up

On a racing related note, things are looking slightly more optimistic for the Mercs to challenge to RBs. A good four way scrap would be brilliant, a la India 2012 (except different drivers, and plus another person. So not really like India at all, I just really really liked that scrap).

That is the first time I've ever heard anyone say a positive thing about India 2012. AKA the only race to date that I've walked out on because the end result was such a foregone conclusion there was no point.

When I think of GPs that would go on the "Worst Race Ever" list, Australia and Hungary 2004 + Korea and India 2012 would easily go on there, but Sgt Pepper has a point. I do recall a close battle for 2nd, with Webber having a KERS problem and Alonso getting by, but not Hamilton.

That's a very good point I'd forgotten, but I was actually referring to the Hamilton/Button/Alonso one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvRi4gLle_k . I know it's only a few seconds, and that most of the Grand Prix was rather dull, but this was just absolutely sublime, and worth the rest of the race (in my eyes at least).

I'm confused, F1.com says "Qyalifying Session Now On", but my tv channel (not sky or bbc) says the session will start airing live in 30 minutes.

Thank God I slept in to see only the final seconds of Q3. Initial thoughts:
- Wow, Sauber seems to rapidly improve
- What a surprise, McLaren got the Q2 chop because of it.

Mclaren once again submit something that puts them on course for ROTY while Sauber look like they might have done enough to escape and Williams continue to fall as well

I think Sauber's performances of late suggest that they are finally meeting pre-season expectations, as in consistently near or in the top 10 and occasionally pulling off incredible results. Although Hulk may not stay at Sauber for next year, 7th on the grid is roughly where the 2012 Sauber might have been or where this Sauber should be regularly. Gutierrez is now starting to show his junior-category pace more with back-to-back Q3 appearances and here he is 8th.
Impressive Grosjean is 3rd again (is this Grosjean's race?) with Webber taking his 10-place drop on the grid (has anybody mentioned that recently?!).

Mr Hamilton is next to him with Mr Grosjean in 3rd
Hopefully Hamilton and Vettel will have a great fight tomorrow for the win (Hopefully Rosberg and Grosjean can get into the Mix) and I hope that Sauber can have another great result (I reckon Gutterriez could get a POINT which would be a first for a rookie this season)
Ferrari do not have the pace at the moment but with Alonso you can never know (for a Podium not the win of course) Massa will go Backwards.
Raikkonen didn't have a great Q3 but as we saw in Singapore he makes race day count so look out for him
Both Force India and Mclaren really don't want fifth place in the constructors at the moment as both teams don't look particularly quick. But then again neither does Toro Rosso.
Webber never has great starts but will need one to get some healthy points tomorrow
Williams Will be ahead of Caterham but nowhere near anyone else
Caterham need a miracle to get that 12th place in a race to not be last in the constructors.

Rachel 1990 you really need some spice in your analysis, you simply say what's most obvious to happen, that will always be a solid preview but never a great one. So, some spice, like, Vettel doesn't win.

No he qualified last again because the Caterham's found some speed but Bianchi has been given a 3 place grid drop for his incident with Di Resta so he starts 21st

Bianchi got a penalty for that - to my eyes he was on the racing line and flat out trying to qualify; he wasn't, I thought, on a slowing down or preparation lap. PDR caught him up sure but what was Bianchi meant to do, move over and damage his own lap because he is in a "slower" car?

According to the statement from the stewards, Bianchi was, at the time, on an out lap rather than a timed lap. The fact that he also received a warning from the team that another driver was on a timed lap and catching him rapidly also seems to have been taken into account, since they feel that Bianchi could have taken action earlier in the lap if he had heeded the radio call.
The driver of car 22 (on an out lap) was given a radio warning of the approach of car 14 (on a fast lap) but decided to stay on line to start his own flying lap. The Stewards consider that car 22 could have safely allowed car 14 to pass before starting his flying lap.

I don't see how quarter of a second is miles. Nonetheless, Vettel does look to have the pace again and race history would suggest he's going to be difficult to beat if he can get away in the early laps. Hopefully Mercedes will properly be in the mix this race because they've been fighting for 4th-5th-6th recently rather than the podiums, I can certainly see an interesting race for the podium spots.
