Right guys, here's a quick update of stuff:

First off, I need livery plans from Mecha and Simpson, as well as a second driver for Simpson. I would like these by the 14th of June, if you please.

Secondly, I have drawn up a provisional calendar. I don't have dates since I'm currently waiting on various other calendars to be revealed, but there's no harm in taking you through the season.

1. Image Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey, CA
2. Image Long Beach Street Circuit, Los Angeles, CA
3. Image Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, QC
4. Image Road Gatineau, Gatineau, QC
5. Image Watkins Glen International, Watkins Glen, NY
6. Image Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA
7. Image Parque Fundidora, Monterrey, NL
8. Image Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City, MX

Once I've got everything, I'll slowly start to put the stuff together I need to and hopefully we'll be ready to kick off in a few weeks. There will be two pre-season tests, where the first will determine the numbers. I'm also planning a non-championship round at the end of the season where the top twelve in each series race at a neutral venue. I may put the other twenty-eight drivers in a race at Marrakech, I don't know yet.

Are the signups still open? Because if they are I could do the schemes really fast and send my drivers too.

If the signups are open:

Team Name: Petrobras/Thompson Racing
Colour Scheme: Black, Green and Yellow
Main Sponsors: Petrobras, Braskem
Driver 1 and personal sponsors: Gabriel Macena (BRA) - Brazilian Government
Driver 2 and personal sponsors: Rick Louis (USA) - Cheerios

Signups are currently closed, but I can put you straight on the waiting list. Since it's pretty short, it shouldn't be too long until you're up, especially if the two teams who have to meet a deadline at the moment miss it.

Okay, regarding the livery...

Just use what the Mecha livery looks like last season (with the new Team Mecha Racing logo, here: http://www.formularejects.com/wiki/File ... Racing.png on it). That's right, with Dell (engine cover) and Pertamina (lower sidepods) as sponsors.

:)

So okay, I decided to do it on my own...

Problem is, do I have to work on the Shadows or in the Noise layer? :?

The livery decision was concrete, actually. The "subject to change" part is to avoid another s**tstorm as in the ARST thread.

I tried, but it is a pain in my butt. Considering I never worked with rFactor liveries before, even working on a solid colored interim livery is difficult for me. :|

Don't you understand that "subject to change" is what will cause the problem?!?!?!?! If it's concrete, then don't write that. Because what it says is you'll change your mind next week. If you write that, you are stating your intention you will change it.

Or maybe you don't understand the problem here. Everyone gets one go at it. ONE. You can't ask for one version, then once it's finished, asked for a bunch of things to be changed from the original that you didn't mention the first time. That's not how this works. You ask, you get. You don't ask, you don't get. You can't change your mind way down the line. Decide exactly what you want, then ask for it.

The problem isn't the surprising us with changes, its that you're asking for changes at all. The fact you are 'warning' us you will change your mind does nothing. It makes nothing better.

OK, I now know my mistake. The original root problem was that I forgetting to say thanks after seeing at my ARST livery and asking for a change. And now, by putting "subject to change", people assume my plans are not final.

I'll remove "subject to change" from my post.

Brilliant, I come back to this...oh, goody.

Since I'm having to wrestle with terrible ferry internet, I'll say just this: Mecha, any more of this crap from you and I'll turf you out, no ifs and no buts.

MinardiFan, I still need a concrete livery and/or plan, although you promised it was in the works.

Didn't get around to finishing the livery on the weekend as promised, though it will be a mainly white car sponsored by John Deere with a green and yellow engine cover and rear wing.

If you can sort it within this week, that's good, but if not then I'll do it on the weekend. I will create the livery to Mecha's specifications, and any more changes he wishes to make will be promptly ignored.

When the final Simpson seat is filled, I can get on and develop the performance files. Then we can have pre-season tests, where numbers will be dished out.

EDIT: Blokkmonsta added to livery page.

So, lemme get this straight. The best you could manage was simply copying the Mecha livery from last year and sending that to Ataxia, being completely oblivious to the fact that not only is the template completely different from the one kindly provided here, but is for a completely different car in a completely different game.

Yeah, I'd call that a solid effort :P

Regarding Mecha livery I tried it myself

The problem is the base from GP2 template is very lowres, can't really sure what it is.

Why, because Rob put the wrong livery on the wrong template, or because I dared to make light of it? Your melodrama does nothing around here except serve to piss people off. If you threaten to pull out of a series, nobody cares in the slightest.

Now, I was very close to giving you the boot, but since Axel's done your livery for you I suggest you shut up, deal with it like a man and thank him. You are on thin f*cking ice, my Pedigree Chum...and I shall be under it when it breaks.

Thank you Axel, I might need to tidy a couple of things up for you but it looks great.

THIS is why no one wants to make liveries for you Mecha. EVERY FREAKING TIME. This is not the first time that someone has told you to stop with this stunt and do you stop?Nope, you continue in your old ways. You are lucky Ataxia didn't kick you out on the spot for this.
