Wasn't Ho-Pin Tung signed for Renault?

I thought so too, but apparently he hasn't inked the deal yet, either that or it fell through. Or perhaps he signed with Renault as their third driver but he's still available for a race seat elsewhere. Campos-Renault in the future?

It will have to fight with Petrov for the seat...Which isn't a fight he could win easily IMO. I don't see Tung testing for Renault and racing in Campos like, among others, did Damon Hill in 1992 racing for Brabham and testing for Williams.

I wouldn't say that's entirely true - Aurelio only says that they've had offers from Russian, Chinese, Italian and drivers, not to mention the fact that he says "to nam a few"; there's clearly more potential candidates there. He doesn't say how serious the offers were or how much Campos considered them, only that the team has had them made.
