You're in luck as according to this list, Mugello is available. Whether it's any good however is beyond me.

Well, I can conform that Kartodromo Orobico is good - I am now considering doing testing there, a F1(RWRS) team testing on a karting track would be bloody hilarious. Furthermore, I'd be surprised if either Fiorano or Mugello would be bad. If my memory serves me right, Adria Raceway also works properly.

Would any team be interested in joining Tropico Grand Prix powered by CR Motorsport at Oschersleben for in-season testing?

Oschersleben? Now THAT is a test MRT are interested in. Problem is we won't be able to pay for it until round 8 at the earliest and we all know that has far too many variables to be a dead certainty.

If you do get a chance to participate in a test and I do end up having to cancel Neuberg's preliminary contract, could you slot McKane into a spare seat as compensation so I can get him a superlicense and therefore off my books for 2016? Whilst he doesn't have the guarantee like Nicolas does, I'm sure RRR would be very appreciative of your help and besides, who doesn't want a two time F1 World Champion testing for their team?

The last time I go to F1R before I go to sleep and I get greeted with this. I'd be okay with this.

I've just woke up, therefore I'm in 'thick' mode until my fifth coffee, but in what way does you cancelling our agreement help me out by running somebody else's driver? I havent got a problem with it as I'm thinking of doing a multi-driver test, but what's the advantage here?

I'll get back to you on that one when I can actually pull something out of my backside

Either way, you can have Nicolas for next year as I kinda need the second MRT seat to be open and if I even try to think of breaking Davies' watertight contract, I'd probably get a black eye for my troubles

See, I knewthere was no decent reason for the McKane test  I'll still chuck him some seat time anyway, but it wont be three tests worth, so someone else will have to pitch him to help him get his superlicense.

As for Nicolas, it depends on how competitive we are this year. If we are still stuck in pre-qualifying/car is horrendously unreliable then we will keep Neuberg as his credits will help improve again. If we move up the field and challenge the midfield regularly, no need for a pay-driver next year. So a Phillipe Nicolas / Ashley Watkinson pairing would be pretty good. I hope.

I'm already running McKane in the two-preseason tests so you'll only need to give him one session and if he does well by your standards, he's all yours as I have absolutely no intention of running him in a MRT car in the F1RWRS proper, mostly because I've ended up digging myself a hole lineup-wise with signing Davies for 2 years so early in the off-season.

So I've got the opportunity to sign Nicolas and F1 Champ McKane? It's all happening at Kingfisher  I'll give McKane a test later then, so RRR, consider McKane licensed for 2016.

MRT have changed their plans and will run Davies and McKane in both pre-season tests as a result of Nicolas suffering an injury. The Frenchman will be fine for the Tasman GP however.

Well it was either that or lose the best driver in the field thanks to his water-bathplugging-tight contract so something HAD to give somewhere. And Uncle Melrose's one weak area has always been driver management, as shown by how quickly the MRT/Spencer relationship deteriorated last year.

I encourage you to create each test page in the wiki and put your lineups there so I don´t have to go through dozens of messages when the time comes to prepare the sessions.

I have come up with another rule; Only Race drivers and Official test drivers (max 2 per team, I see HRT and Alitalia have 3, which is absolutely crazy) may participate at official Pre-season test sessions.

Can I nominate Peter Port (due to make his debut in F3RWRS this season) as Foxdale's Official Test Driver? Plus, Plus, do we have to decide upon in-season testing before the season starts, or can we decide upon that as the season goes on?

Actually, there's no reason why there should be any preferential treatment at this point. After all, bias is more likely to be towards Jordan Davies, after James Davies was a supportive teammate in 2012. So make Jordan Davies an official test driver too. But if one proves to be significantly better, expect changes to be made...

As an aside, if an F3R driver has a few F1R tests, is this likely to help or hinder his/her F3R performance files? Or will it not make any difference?

No difference, but have in count that I keep stats so once I generate stats for Jordan Davies that will be it, and from then on you´ll have to develop him (that, or if he´s a pay driver then he´ll keep those stats locked until he scores 10 points within a season)

Please can somebody with more expertise than me (and better software than Microsoft Paint) make me a livery from the following bits of specifications:

This basic colour scheme template:
Image

This post from the F3RWRS thread

and the following notes about the placement of sponsor logos and other things:

Sainsbury's - on the up side of the rear wing, in white on orange
Mr Muscle (NOT KH-7) - on the sides of the sidepods
Swiftcover.com (something like this) - on the engine cover
Fidanza - on the rear part of the engine cover
This company - on the sides of the nosecone (ie behind the front wheels)
Prospec - on the front wing endplates and the lower side of the rear wing
Michelin - on the top of the nose, just in front of the cockpit
Eibach - on the front wing
Peugeot - on the tip of the nosecone, and anywhere else you fancy putting it
Numbers - on the rear wing endplates as shown, and on the nose in white on purple

Thank you in advance!!!

1st Pre-Season test Tomorrow. All non-allowed drivers (Wizzie, sort out McKane situation), will be substitued by race drivers or one official test driver. Teams I´ve heard nothing from will feature race drivers.

Hmm, I'm currently making this livery, and the only place where I could still fit them would be the tops of the sidepods.

Indeed they are. Avira even provides Lon's current team with free high-end anti-virus solutions.

Hmm, I'm currently making this livery, and the only place where I could still fit them would be the tops of the sidepods.

The back plane of the rear wing would do, fill it in red and place the logo there :)
And I'm considering making this livery for rFactor, seen as it has a lot of detail that can't be picked up in GP2 :)

In case it wasn't already painfully obvious, Kremnicky is a regular driver. I know, he's The Lukas' driver, but if he decides he will be a pay driver, he will be sacked there and then.

Gaah, stupid limited GP2 palette, doesn't seem to like purple at all...

Anyway, here's what I managed to make:
Image

The sponsor on top of the left sidepod is Avira, while the one on the right is Congstar.

That's quality Nuppiz, thank you! Could you possibly just make a couple of changes - moving the Avira to the bottom panel of the rear wing as Pasta suggested, making the Congstar much smaller (if possible) and forwards facing, and a white Mr Muscle logo rather than orange?

Like this? (can't make Congstar any smaller, as it will become a mess)

Problem solved, chief. Yes, I've even resorted to executive meddling to get McKane off my books as soon as possible by promoting him to official test driver, which makes sense considering Jason's out until April at the earliest thanks to his horror Indy smash last year.

Will he get the test driver role back when he is recovered?

He'll get it back in 2016 for sure. For 2015, you'll probably have to be content with being the F2RWRS reserve driver (Which is actually a good thing considering rumours that Melrose's patience for both his drivers is starting to run out considering their lack of pace in the pre-season tests)

As I've confirmed before, Jones will run Vantini and Jones himself at both official pre-season tests. In-season tests will be sorted later, but it's highly likely that there will be a team-up with Kingfisher for a test at some point.
