Ah, stuff it. McDoggle Racing is entering a fifth car under the Shiny Suds Motorsport banner. The driver? None other than Mad Uncle Melrose himself.
I'll sort out the details later once I finish doing the standings.

Cassidy Racing will enter a one off at Fontana. The car will be run as a joint effort with NASCAR Sprint Cup team James Davies Racing, with the driver being none other than F1RWRS race-winner and 4 time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion James Davies.

This is just about the last thing I needed to get funding for the merged Onyx Moseley Racing for next season, more one off entries. At least outside of another DNF for Clint Hillman from a poor quality car.

Having spent most of today and some of last night doing it, I present to you the
full results table for this season so farEDIT: For those of you that are interested, both Salvatore Miccoli and Dave Anderson qualify for F1RWRS Reject Licenses in 2016 based on these results regardless of what happens in the last two race. Note that the top 5 at the end of the season qualify for the licenses and there are several key runners in contention for the final three spots.
And for the record, if Schumacher, Moreno or Sospiri were to finish in the top 5, they would be ineligible for a Reject License and it'll go to the first fictional driver below them in the standings.

Thank you, very much!

Seeing the results, I'm quite proud that I managed to create my own Deletraz in Johannes das Schaf.

Although Johannes Seidlitz isn't much better, and he has a Honda engine for christ's sake!

EDIT: You've even taken the Portland results into calculation. Wow, what have I done, to deserve something taking a load of work off me?

Anyway, with a maximum of 90 points remaining, these are the remaining drivers, who have a realistic shot at the championship:
Salvatore Miccoli
Dave Anderson
Kenan Ardaoglu

No worries mate. I haven't had anywhere near as much schoolwork this weekend as I have had in recent weeks so I figured I might as well do something productive. However, even I was amazed at just how long it took to do all that.
And forget the championship battle, there's just 24 points covering 4th down to 11th! Although looking at Claude Speed's results, he probably would have cleaned up the title easily if it wasn't for his Kentucky smash. And finally, how exactly do I sort out Melrose's entry for Fontana?

I don't know, if Speed would have been able to fight for the championship. Although Rockstar Engineering was one of the rather rare Reynard-Hondas. Mecha Grand Prix and Mastercard Lola were using Lolas. Still, it wasn't really a guarantee for victories.
As for the guest starters: They will be ineligible for championship points. They're just competing for the 800.000 $. So I guess, you can just open another tab for Fontana guest drivers. By the way, I still need your stats @ those, who already entered drivers.

Michael Bright Racing, the team that bought FGCR in the US, offer a drive to Ryan McReynolds. Part of the deal includes 10% of the money from a sponsorship deal with Labatts.

Just give Melrose 10/10/10 for everything and I'll sort out the car after Laguna Seca, simply because I'm not sure how much money I'll need to continue running four cars next year. If worse comes to worse, I'll just shuffle Antonio Reyna-Sanchez into the 73 car and have Melrose take the 37 car instead

Well, you should have enough money to hire Melrose for Fontana. Team owners will also receive points payment after the season, so you may get some more bucks out of it.

"Speaking of Mazda, the company has announced their participation in the 2016 IndyCar season today. Mazda executives have announced their partnership with Cosworth, which, according to them, will built "quite a revolutionary engine". It remains to be seen what they mean about that. Yes, at the possible price you might be stuck with pay drivers in your 3rd and 4th cars next season due to the new chassis if Melrose doesn't win or place well up the order.

Meh, I can just sell off the fifth car after the race and recoup some of the costs in the process.

Indeed, of course you're doing a gamble spending 330K for the ability to win 800K. It might work out very well for you. Go ahead, if it works you probably can run 5 cars and be like Dick Simon back in the 1990s. If it fails, you have two or three very strong cars.

I'd prefer to run four cars for next year but I can just as easily work with three. What I really want to know however is how much money we get per point because if it's something like $1000 per point, I can probably run a full roster next year quite comfortably.
EDIT: Paul Page got his maths wrong at the end. The gap is NOT three points between the leaders. In fact, Anderson and Miccoli are tied heading into the finale at Fontana

Ah f' that. I'll directly deliver the race results. I just want to get over with this season. So stay tuned!
Paul Page wrote:"A long journey ends today. After 21 races all over the world, it comes down to one last race of 500 miles. Two men fight for the championship. Italy's Salvatore Miccoli and America's Dave Anderson. But not only the championship is up for grabs, but also 800.000 $ for the winner. In order to get the grand prize, a driver not only has to survive the 500 miles, but he also has to overcome the small gap between danger and victory. Harold Watson set a record-breaking pole at Fontana, with over 241mph! In a field with 42 cars, accidents may happen. But drivers know all too well, that in order to achieve victory, they need to laugh danger in it's face.
Today's race has a worldwide audience, and whoever wins it, will make headlines around the world. Not only will he receive a large check, but his name will become known among a global audience. We'll just have to wait 500 miles, before the name will be revealed!"
Paul Page wrote:"Hello everyone, I'm Paul Page. Today's race is looking to be an exciting affair. The championship is up for grabs, and Salvatore Miccoli has already set his foot into the door, as he starts from the front row. Dave Anderson on the other hand, has to make his charge from 34th position. But this fast Auto Club Speedway with speeds over 240mph should enable him to quickly make up positions. Here's today's grid line-up!"
Paul Page wrote:"As the 42 cars line up in rows of three, and the pace car pulls off...and the race is under way...AND LOOK AT SALVATORE! He makes a charge for first, but Harold is staying in second."
Parker Johnstone wrote:"Miccoli has done everything right, but he shouldn't charge to hard. Remember, Fontana is all about the draft. Although the field is already spread out quite nicely, probably to some relief of the drivers."
Paul Page wrote:"Yes indeed, there were concerns about the large amount of cars. But it all seems to go pretty well. We're now past lap 1, and Salvatore Miccoli still has the lead!"
Paul Page wrote:"And there's a car in the wall, a very heavy accident for Ryota Wong in turn two here. Yellow is out, and we have our first caution on lap 9. Here's a replay."
Parker Johnstone wrote:"Oh, it's been Jo Seidlitz again! He clipped his left rear wheel, but it lead to disaster...oh, Ryota had a heavy impact on the left side. Hopefully he's alright!"
Paul Page wrote:"But Ryota's already been moving inside the cockpit, but he seems to struggle at getting out of the cockpit."
Paul Page wrote:"Oh, and that's O.N. Duck Jr's engine, that's blown up! What a shame, especially since Junior has been in great shape. He even considered a comeback at 51 years of age. Also, father and son retired just within three laps of each other. So the "Duck hunt" is over for this race."
Paul Page wrote:"...as we approach lap 136...and one the Mecha Grand Prix cars is slowing down...THAT'S DAVE ANDERSON! How did that happen?"
Parker Johnstone wrote:"I can't see any smoke from the back, but Dave's car doesn't look like it had been engaged in a tangle. Maybe there's a problem with the fuel pressure."
Paul Page wrote:"But whatever it is, Sal Miccoli is the new Indy Champion. Even if he doesn't finish in the points, he has more podium finishes than Anderson, therefore winning the tie-break."
Paul Page wrote:"After 250 laps, Martin van der Maeyede crosses the line, and wins the 800.000 $!"

Another strong finish for both Hillman in the obsolete car with an 11th place, 3 laps down. One can expect a great season from him next year. An 11th and a 12th in a bad car. Just imagine what he can do with a Cosworth and a current chassis.

We won a race?? Yes!yes!yes!!
And with that, Foster's Good Call Racing IndyCar division shuts its doors for the last time. American FGCR is dead. Long live Michael Bright Racing (MBR)

Well, that was a complete bust.
Ryan McReynolds will accept the offer to drive for MBR next season if he doesn't get another offer in the next day or so. Cassidy Racing is interested in signing Clint Hillman to replace McReynolds next season, and has already reached an agreement with Calvin Brooks to replace the retiring Brendon Cassidy Jr for 2016.

Sadly, the ink has been dry on Hillman's new contract as of a few hours ago, but there is a buyout clause that allows you to have his services for $135,000 and requires you send the money to me.

And suddenly, McDoggle Racing have hit the jackpot with three cars finishing in the top 10, with the Mad Uncle himself in a triumphant 3rd place in his first IndyCar race in 7 years.

EDIT: And before I forget, the following drivers now qualify for Reject Licenses to compete in the F1RWRS:
Salvatore Miccoli
Dave Anderson
Kenan Ardaoglu
Andrea Bianchi
Lance Vance

BTW, I think the points standings on F1alternate aren't accurate. I mean, Miccoli would have scored a point for 19th. Granted, I could do it myself, but I'm not that good with tables on wiki.
And I'm lazy. Besides, I can only give out the points money, if I know the proper points standings

.

They are accurate; Miccoli didn't complete the required percentage of the race distance to recieve points

Also, may I suggest that for next year a teams championship is introduced? I know that IRL IndyCar and CART do not/did not include a teams championship, but I think it will make this championship even more interesting! Perhaps each team could only nominate two cars to go towards the teams totals, to make it fairer.

Huh? Any driver that finishes or retires while in the top 20 (regardless of when they retired) scores points. I think I told Wizzie the same thing.

IndyCar is different from F1 in points and how they are distributed. If Dominic Dobson or Lyn St. James had retired before lap 196 in the 1992 Indy 500, Michael Andretti would have gotten a point back under the CART system while in F1 he'd be NC.

How each driver stats are, so you can see how updating can be allocated?

Will the money for each driver carry over to any new team they sign for?
