Irvine will race and test for Onyx as a result Tyrrell will like to hire a new test driver and as we are in debt we need them to bring some money.

Once he is in debt with over 10m$ he can't do anything! Next season the budget system will also be a little different!
I think that Eurobrun will hardly make it to the grid next season because 10 m$ from sponsors won't be easy to achieve!

Please sort out your driver changes until tomorrow!

VOTING:
I have 2 very important questinons on my table!
Every team will have to vote! If a team owner don't vote he will get a reprimant! 2 reprimants and the team owner will be out!

Question 1
Reliability System
I have worked out a complete new reliability system! It will hopefully more realistic. Teams will be able to test the reliability of the cars in order to make it better!

When should i implement it?

A: start of 1991
B: after the 8th race 1990

Question 2
Driver signing

When should w start the process for 1991?
A: start of 1991
B: after the 8th race of 1990
C: after the 12th race of 1990

Please vote until 2nd of September!

For issue 1, we vote after the 8th race of this season. Thus, if it needs to be tweaked for whatever reason, we don't need to go through the same rigmarole next season.

For issue 2, we vote after the 12th race of this season.

Reliability should be implemented after round 8

1991 drivers is a bit of a difficult situation as we dont know how much budget we have for 1991 so we should really sort out the sponsership you are planning for 1991 first. so i would sort out drivers at the end of the season

Hermann would you mind updating tyrrell budget to take into account irvine going to onyx and being replaced as tyrrell test driver by gugelmin

Round 7: Le Castellet

Race

It was a exciting race here at Le Castellet. The Frenchman Alain Prost had a very good start and was leading after the first lap. Piquet came second and Alesi third. Zanardi didn't managed to finish the first lap because his engine didn't made it! Piquet didn't had a chance to overtake Prost but also had no problems to keep his pace. Alesi, who was in 3rd position, was after 30 laps already 21 seconds behind. Roberto Moreno has driven a magnificent race and manged to be in P6 after the pit stops. Häkkinen, Senna and Moreno scored points without making a stop! During the pit stop the Ferrari pitcrew was about 1 second faster than the crew from Mclaren. Now Piquet was leading Prost and it was the same scenario just the other way round! Williams had some troubles with there long run pace. They where fast in qualifying but not so at the race. Boutsen had to stop twice because of a puncture in lap 58. At the end Piquet wins the race leving a not very amused french crowed!

1 Nelson Piquet (Ferrari) 1:38:58.796
2 Alain Prost (Meclaren-Honda) 1:38:58.802
3 Mika Häkkinen (Footwork Arrows-Ford) 1:39:13.715
4 Jean Alesi (Meclaren-Honda) 1:39:41.515
5 Ayrton Senna (Benneton-Ford) 1:39:56.700
6 Roberto Moreno (Ligier-Ford) 1:40:12.450

8 Mark Blundell (Tyrell-Renault) -1 lap
9 Stefano Modena (Williams-Renault) -1 lap

15 Nigel Mansell (Brabham-Ford) -2 laps

A point was very much needed for team ambition. Moreno has been doing nice job this year. The team would like to keep him, but it depends also about how much interest he is getting from the other teams.

Warwick has been disappointment and unless he really improves towards the end, he won't get contract extension offer.
