They used that for years at Channel 10 when they had the V8 Supercar coverage for showing the grid, race results and the like. Before it all went to hell when the coverage went to Channel 7.

Just finished listening to the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2012... all it did was serve as a reminder of how far that station has gone downhill in the last few years. Joining such artists as Powderfinger, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Mumford & Sons, Oasis and Jet (just to name a few) as Hottest 100 winners is this (very strong language warning, don't click that link wmetcalf!). I can't quite decide whether it's worse than the 2010 winner; "Big Jet Plane" by Angus and Julia Stone.

Also, there was a website that took all of the votes shared to social media and sorted them... and predicted every song in the top 10, some in the wrong order, but the top 3 were exactly the same.

I'm gonna order it in a few days time...in the meantime I'm ordering this as we speak.

You, sir, are amazing! One of my favorites off of that album, next to "Painkiller" and "Battle Hymn/One Shot at Glory".

I usually pay no attention whatsoever to the BBC Sound Of... winners, because normally they champion inoffensive, 'vanilla' acts like Keane that can be played to death on the radio, or absolute utter dross like 50 Cent/Pence ( ) and Jessie J ( ). But this year, they've actually chosen a cracking band for once, that appear to have been influenced by Fleetwood Mac.

Took delivery of my Warpaint album; 'twas the deluxe edition which includes The Fool, and their Exquisite Corpse EP. And it is bathplug brilliant.

One such example...give it a listen.

Maison & Dragen are probably my favourite electro production duo atm...

Controversial opinion time...

Pulp are a godawful band. Common People made me want to throw myself off a bridge to make the music stop.

My unpopular opinion involving a 90s band:

Radiohead's best albums were Pablo Honey and The Bends. Nothing they've made since 1995 has been good to my ears. And they should stop being so depressing as well.

I've tried countless number of times to get into OK Computer. Hasn't worked at all.

Indeed, there's nothing better than simply tuning the outside world out while listening to Oasis' Stop the Clocks album from the Oasis collection my friend gave me yesterday. What annoys me however is I didn't get most of the Morning Glory album, and I'm gonna harass him about it until he gets it
