Well, both Caffi and Gachot qualified. That rear wing seems to have been a good investment...

Thatd it, arnoux is sacked with immediate effect and hill is promoted to 2nd driver position. Wr will offer danner, dumfries, morbidelli and winkelhock test role - the one who offers the most money gets the position

Still suffering in qualify, but Larini have race pace and the car is slowly climbing to upper mid-field thanks to added development. Tarquini needs to improve in the next races or Gary Brabham will have a go in the race weekend.

Christian Danner
1-20...can't offer some money
21-55...250k$
56-75...500k$
76-90...750k$
91-100...1m$
13 no money from him

Johnny Dumfries
1-20...can't offer some money
21-55...250k$
56-75...500k$
76-90...750k$
91-100...1m$
4 can't provide any money

Giani Morbidelli
1-20...can't offer some money
21-55...250k$
56-75...500k$
76-90...750k$
91-100...1m$
93 1m$ from him!

Joachim Winkelhock
1-20...can't offer some money
21-55...250k$
56-75...500k$
76-90...750k$
91-100...1m$
42 250k...

This would mean Morbidelli is the new test driver from Footwork Arrows.

After the british GP there will be the rule announcment for 1991! At the same time i will present the new sponsoring system so that you will have an idea of how much money you can probably gain!
It will also be possible to play it safer and sign drivers after the season but some "big fishes" will be away than!

Ok then although Tyrrell will probably keep their drivers for next season but at least it will be nice to know potentially how much money we have to spend

Would Rene Arnoux mind looking for sponsors? If he can bring Brabham some money we would immediately replace Aguri Suzuki with him as reserve driver.

Round 8: Silverstone

Race

What a race here at Silverstone. After the start Alesi was leading over Piquet and Prost. In lap 6 it startet to rain! One lap later Piquet couln't hold his car on track and spun off into the cravel! The rain caused chaos on the track because sometimes it startet to dry and some drivers pit and than it startet to rain again! This caused that some drivers pitet 5 times during the race! Mark Blundell was the most clever driver out there! He managed to pit only once! Even Ayrton Senna had to pit twice! At the end of the race it was very dramatic! Mark Blundell was in a comfortable lead over Berger but Senna, who was in 3rd laped between 1 and 2.5 seconds faster than Blundell! Senna overtook Berger in lap 59 but didn't caught Blundell! Alesi who was in 4th poition hit the barriers in lap 53 which gave Alex Caffi in his AGS p6! Caffi only pited once same as Blundell! This race was just incredible!

Given what AGS achieved I wonder what might have happened if we were fast enough to qualify... Anyway, at the moment scoring points would be a pipe dream.

Note: that was only the 28th time the term 'pipe dream' was used on this forum.

Leyton House will test power steering with all three cars at Silverstone. We feel locking ourselves out of an eventual contract with Jarno Trulli is worth the tradeoff.

Finally we are happy to have two competitive drivers! Damon scored points on his debut, that is what we all hoped.

However, we must improve in order to challenge even more the top teams. That is why we will stay at Silverstone with Mika and Damon working on front wing, while new driver Giani Morbidelli will work on suspension (as it seems that this is the weakest part of our car).
To finish first, first you have to finish!

Question 1: start of 1991.

Question 2: after the 12th race of 1990.

Also, McLaren will try and sign Ayrton Senna for 1991; however, details about his salary won't be released until after later in the season, but we'll try for it to be high.

We'll be testing the electrical system at Jerez with all 3 drivers.

He was between Patrese and van der Poele! He spun off the track and hit the barrier. The crash wasn't that hard!
