Axel, will existing LGPS teams from 1993 be given preference for entries to Rejects-1?

Can we nominate other reject cars to be included in the series? Because I personally want to see the 1991 Footwork-Porsche in there.

I'll take the suggestion and will test the Footwork-Porsche :)

And just found a good 1995 season :D Will have Simtek, Pacific, Forti, Lola for latter seasons (does anybody wants 1998 Tyrell?)

I am hoping to start up an alternate 2003 season using the same cars and drivers in real life but with sprint and feature races, reverse grids and points for the top 10, if anyone is actually interested. It will be done on f1 2003's spectator mode.

Would F3RWRS and F1RDS Team Owners be interested in a Macau F3 GP equivalent for Junior Drivers in the PMMF taking place on the same weekend as the F1R GP at the Guia Circuit? The plan would be the top 8 teams from each series bring 2 cars each (8 Teams from 2 series each bring 2 cars, 8x2X2 = 32 car grid) would partake, with other teams (whether from F3R or F1RD or Asian One-Offs) joining if the same team is in the top 8 of both series.

The plan would be to run it in GTR2 in the same process that I run the GT-R WC, albeit without user ratings and different race weekend format.

Any takers? (It's called the Macau Junior Masters, btw)

I would be interested, as I think The Crusaders have a decent chance of being in the top 8 for RDS. Although it's quite well known that you dislike that name.

I'd definitely be interested. And I have two teams which could make it into the race. If both get into the top 8 in their series, I'd enter only one, despite Mazzacane Motorsport and Ecurie Prenois technically being different teams.

I've finally managed to get around to working on my new idea for a series on here (see here and here).

I've devised my own way of running this on Excel, using 2012 F1 laptimes as a base guide (percentages of lap records, plus some standard deviation geekiness to ensure there's some variety and chance of IIDOTRs). Having run some testing at Albert Park using the 2012 drivers is there any feedback on the results here? I'm pretty happy with them myself although I probably should boost the times from Q1 to Q2 to Q3 just a little. I'm thinking of running the series as single lap Qualifying runs just to keep it simple:

Q1
Image
Q2
Image
Q3

Alonso got owned by the RNG in Q2, as did Vettel in Q3.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking to organise a race of Spa Masters after 2016 Spa SuperPrix weekend at the Tuesday of 20th September 2016. With so many series and drivers, I decide the race would invites the winner of each series' race. If a driver refused, the entry is reserved for the 2nd place and 3rd place finishers. If until 3rd refused, the entry would be not taken. Still thinking of race length and car would be used. Comments?

As regular visitors to our IRC channel might know, I'm planning to use the CSGT (Classic Sports and GT) mod for my next historical series, which will be set in the 1960s. It won't start until after LGPS is done and dealt with for good, but here's a sneak peek on the list of cars included in this mod: http://pastebin.com/7tR7idGq

The categorisation is based on how difficult each car's livery template is, ranging from simple ones pretty much anyone can edit to something only hardcore livery editors should attempt. Bear in mind though that this is the 1960s, so I'm not even going to allow overly sophisticated liveries - the difficulty rating is based purely on the complexity of the car's template.

As announced earlier, there will be a nine round Pacific Rim Cup to be held over the F1RWRS off-season. Lola have agreed to supply ex-F2RWRS cars for the championship, while Lancia will supply upgraded versions of their 2016 F1RWRS engines, as they need a way to get rid of them after Alitalia dumped them at the altar so late in the off-season. Details are as follows:

TEAMS & DRIVERS:

1. There are 11 team entries available, thanks to the limitations of GP4.
2. Entries are reserved to teams that already have entries in the F1RWRS, F2RWRS, F3RWRS or IFRC, and each user can only enter one team.
3. However, since there are three separate legs to the championship, users can decide if they want to enter all three legs, or if they only want to enter one or two of them.
4. Drivers must be existing open-wheeler drivers in the RWRS, and must have driven at some point in 2016.
5. Teams may not run two F1RWRS drivers concurrently.

CHAMPIONSHIP/RACE FORMAT:

1. As stated, there are nine rounds split into three legs of the championship with three rounds each (Australiasia, Asia, North America)
2. The calender will be announced at a later date, but we already have a good idea of what races will be included.
3. Each round will be made of 2 races, split between a 100km sprint race, and a 200km feature race
4. Qualifying will be run for the 100km sprint race, while the grid for race 2 will be set by race 1 results
5. There will be a compulsory pit stop for all cars during the sprint race, which can be made at any time. At least one stop need to be made to finish the feature race, but teams are free to make more stops at their discretion.
6. Points are handed out to the top 8 in the sprint race, using the 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, while they are handed out 20-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 for the feature race. 2 additional points will be given for pole in the sprint race, while 1 point will be awarded for fastest lap in each race.
7. Drivers and teams will compete for titles in each individual leg, as well as for an overall championship encompassing all three legs.

Wizzie wrote:As announced earlier, there will be a nine round Pacific Rim Cup to be held over the F1RWRS off-season.

Sounds good. I'd like to enter.

Could Michelin do the tyres or is there a supplier in place?

Does listening to a dog licking its balls get you excited?

Not sure whether to put Team Mecha, TRE, or Aurico, but anyway, interesting. Since it is off-season, that would pose problems for those double dutying with F1RSTC... :?
