Round 3: Dunsfold Aerodrome
Qualifying.
Due to a glitch with this track a number of cars at the front will start a lap down.
Race.
The race was always going to be an interesting affair, with the double crossover and the fact that the top 10 were put a lap down from the start due to unmentioned reasons. This promoted Maxim Simonov to 1st place from 11th just by crossing the start line. Meanwhile, there was chaos at the first corner, with cars going every which way to avoid James Davies, who had been spun. One of the Polski Fiats nearly ended up in a hangar! Gio Van Dycke proved why he's the king of crashes by almost strategically placing his Trabant right at a place to collide with someone near the tyre bundle. One time he rolled coming out of the follow-through and managed to roll Laurent Seron's Dacia by T-boning it while the Trabant was on it's side. Jacek Piscopo was leading at the halfway mark... I say was as Van Dycke managed to hit him, while missing the gaggle of cars just behind him.
This group of cars managed to avoid any contact with others, rather luckily... at least until the last lap, when Carsten Jancker slammed into the back of the sole Wartburg entry of Simon Garfunkel, causing a pile-up. The top 5 got home safely though with Dargaan Zorzanov taking the victory from Zbynek Benes and Jacek Piscopo, who managed to get back to 3rd after being hit by Van Dycke.

Round 4: Vanautu
The F1 Rejects dream is alive - a race in Vanautu has finally arrived. It isn't F1 though, but the much more entertaining REECCS.
Qualifying.
Race.
You thought the first few races were crazy? Well, as the words to a popular '70's rock song go, "You 'ain't seen nothing yet". The Vanautu track is a huge oval, however to spice things up, the track owners added a few chicanes and a very narrow hairpin section. This hairpin section proved the undoing of many drivers, and if you were in a Dacia, Lada or Wartburg, your chances of making it through unscathed were nil. Combine this with the fact that the start finish timer didn't extend to the pits meant that this was nearly the craziest race in REECCS history.
It is just about impossible to go into detail about this race in this review given that there was so much action, so lets just say that all of the Ladas crashed at the hairpin, along with just about everyone else, except for the Polski-Fiats, who drifted their way through the hairpins (though were gutless through the rest of the lap, meaning some Skodas were in the mix for the top positions). The biggest surprise of the race was the fact that two Trabants finished in the points! Back at the front, it was Rafel Lepel who won from Samael Meerwick and Tetsuya Takagi.
No awards will be given for this race.
