Prospec keen to keep champ Kazama

Prospec team principal Gary Cameron has confirmed that the team has offered newly crowned F3RWRS champion Tomo Kazama the opportunity to stay at the team for another season. Cameron did, however, concede that he would not be surprised to see the Japanese teenager move up the ladder following her impressive performances this year.

Laps 17 and 18 saw the two stoppers come back in for their last stops, leaving Lamberigts in the lead, but not by much, and she was having to save fuel already. Martin McFry ran out of fuel while running 16th and couldn't quite make it to the pit entry, although he did enough to be classified.

Is there any indication where Martin McFry could have ended up had he not run out of fuel? I assume he would have been somewhere ahead of Eff One?

Actually, he was just behind him at the time, Eff One had a good start and jumped a few people at the first stops. I honestly thought he would run out of fuel too since he was due to come in after McFry.

Ecurie Albertini becomes Hydook Junior Team
With JV Albertini's indefinite retirement from open-wheel racing, Hydook Racing decided to step in to another racing series, that is F3RWRS.
Hydook Junior Team presented, in the wonderful and welcoming Regent Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, its programme for the upcoming 2015 season.

After a short, closed to press presentation, the team headed for Rijeka, where they tested the car on a local Grobnik track.

MA-Junior Racing: Harry Austin leaves competitive racing
It seems that only half a year has persuaded young Harry Austin that Motorsport isn't for him. The 18 year old Englishman didn't set the world alight in his time with Mitie Aviation Junior, and he has taken the decision to not only leave Mitie Aviation, but to retire from competitive racing for the forseeable future.
"It's a shame to lose Harry", said a disappointed Mr.Alexander, "But we respect his wishes. Hopefully he will return to the series one day, but for now, his choice is quite clear. We wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do".
This now frees up a place at the Junior side, with Ashley Lilly looking to stay on, for the beginning at least, and no other driver being linked.

So Harry Austin has been 'retired' with immediate effect.

Du Lei will get taken out of the game? She was in line for a test and reserve driver role at Prospec F1RWRS team as long as she doesn't disgrace herself in her three outings this season (possibly subject to her mentor Lon accepting the full time race drive)

That is what I meant, having her as a test driver somewhere. I should have worded that better, sorry. ;)

It would however, take her out of the game as far as the five-driver rule goes, since that one is - if I have understood everything correctly - only counting actively racing drivers.

My good race in Hungary apparently rose a few eyebrows, and I'm glad to be able to move up in the racing ladder.

I was actually half-expecting Swerts to take up a full-time spot at Gillet in the F2RWRS for next year.

Then again, with TMLW using GP4 this year, it'll be much easier to cross over between the two series, especially when it comes to common performance files. Speaking of which, I suggest the F3RWRS use a modified version of the F2RWRS's driver development system except it'd be over two seasons per driver rather than 3 in the F2RWRS (e.g. 3 points per round for the first 10 events and then 1 point per event for the next 10). Which means theoretically the maximum number of 'bonus' performance points a driver that does 5 years combined in the F2RWRS and F3RWRS would be 130 points.

Three drivers in contention for Hydook seat
According to RWRS-Insider.com, the team is considering three drivers who could bring enough money to pay for the second seat. Those three candidates are: Korean driver Kim-Lee Wang, Portuguese João António Soares and the Swedish Ragnar Larsen.
The Monaco Times adds that ex-owner and driver, Jean-Vincent Albertini, is still willing to drive for Hydook.

Team principal Anton Bosevic commented on these revelations, saying that he "can't confirm anything, but we're negotiating with many drivers from different series".

Cameron: Torbani hasn't done enough

Prospec team principal Gary Cameron has stated that Massimiliano Torbani's performances for the team in the final two rounds of the F3RWRS season were not good enough to persuade him to offer the Italian a full-time drive for 2015. Cameron said, "Max hasn't done enough, to be honest. I know it's hard to come into a new team in the middle of the season, but we expected him to be much closer to Michael [Cameron] and Tomo [Kazama] than he was. With the format changing to give teams a maximum of two cars each, we have to be very careful about our driver choices and we feel there are better options available. Of course I want to wish Max the best of luck in his future career, and thank him for his efforts while he was with the team."

Cameron also took the opportunity to confirm that Prospec would be using the same chassis and engines in 2015 which took them to both championships this year, saying, "We've had great success with Dallara and see no reason to change things." He went on to add, "An announcement about our driver lineup will be made in due course."

Hydook F3-1: first pictures
The new Hydook F3-1 broke cover for the first time at Grobnik Rijeka on Friday, completing its first run with Anton Bosevic behind the wheel.
The car was powered by last year's engine.
Another car was spotted in Hydook's trucks. What's interesting, anonymous workers said it has Hydook's self-built engine
that currently is developed in Hydook's headquarters and will be ready to use in 2016. Whether it is for F2RWRS or F3RWRS is still unclear.

MA-Junior: Torbani retires

Massimiliano Torbani has announced his retirement from competitive motorsport with immediate effect. The Mitie Aviation Junior driver, who also spent time with Prospec, has declared himself unhappy in his personal life and has announce his retirement at the age of 21. "We're sorry for Max, as this moment in time he has some personal issues away from the track."
Mitie Aviation have now lost two young drivers from their books in the space of a week, following Harry Austin's earlier announcement. With Mitie now involved with all three categories within the RWRS, Mr.Alexander may well look towards other drivers to fill the seats. "We will be looking to take drivers on from other teams, helping them grow and progress from young rookies into established drivers for the future. Whilst we don't have a problem with drivers wishing to take a seat with us, we have one stipulation we feel is of utmost importance to us. As a British team, we pride ourselves on giving British drivers the best possible start. So having two British drivers is top of our list."
Ashley Lilly has announced he will step up to the F2 series next year, after impressing at Spa for the Junior side. "Ashley is a good talent, and having him move up the ladder will give him more confidence."

Not enough points and no race weekend victory (collective results over three races) means he isn't eligible for a Superlicense. You'll need to keep him in F2RWRS or F3RWRS.
