Boxtel would like to know if it costs them money to go to the test. If not, we would like to head over to try out some new parts and drivers.

Yes, it´s a private test so it costs. It would be 20 credits for Boxtel.

Shizuka, Marie Simon is Pay or Regular?? (I´m really starting to lose my patience on this, guys. When you name a new driver you have to ALWAYS state if it´s a Pay or regular driver. Seriously, this is the very last time I´m asking this; next time I´ll throw a dice and if you don´t like the outcome then don´t blame me afterwards.)

Wouldnt it be better to assume that they are regular drivers unless the driver owner explicitly states they are a pay driver?

In order to save 10 credits, Boxtel will be holding a private test on February 4th at Circuit Park Zandvoort rather than heading all the way out to Thruxton. We will announce more drivers later but the provisional list is as follows: Johannes Rueckert, Nathanael Spencer, Andrea Battani, Micko Glotch and pay driver Richard Hershall.

How the hell would Shizuka know anyway? She's DanielPT's responsibility, after all

She is not a pay-driver, although she gave 75 credits from F2RWRS performances to anyone who signed her.

That's only if she got a race drive. Since she's only doing a test, nobody gets any money until she gets at least half a season in the F1RWRS.

I don´t know, because many times it turns out when I ask they´re Pay drivers.

Maybe that is still the answer. It would force people to tell you that they are pay drivers, if the alternative was the automatic assumption that they weren't?

Autosport wrote:Foxdale and Aeroracing to merge?
Rumours are abound that Pippa Mann will be merging the Foxdale team with Aeroracing. With Douglas Mann and Pippa Mann driving for both teams during the season the rumour does seem to have some basis, there is no real reason why the Manns should share a drive as Pippa Mann probably has the talent still to win races in either car. It could be that they are sharing technology but as the two cars are different this is not likely. Both team bosses have refused to answer our calls to talk about the possible merger.

Foxdale Auto Racing Team Press Release

West Cliff-Foxdale would like to respond to the recent article that appeared in Autosport. While the Mann siblings are indeed sharing a drive at each team, Douglas is only spending one race at Aeroracing before Pippa spends the rest of the season there. There is no technological transfer between the teams. Pippa Mann is merely trying to satisfy her competitive urges as a driver to win a second Drivers' Title, aiming to be the first woman in F1RWRS to gain a second title. She also hopes to see how other teams operate, to improve how West Cliff-Foxdale operates. Because Ben Fleet has been useless at obtaining any useful information from other teams when probed by Pippa Mann at home...

Can somebody add a column in the main testing table with the best time?? It would be cool to have it if only for future references. Also, each testing page hould have the chart with all the times.

Added the column and best results to the main page, might work on the full lists later... but if someone else wants to do it I don't mind.

Thanks, but I think at least 0.8s improvement will be needed per driver to prequalify.
I know there's a need for a second driver who's capable of being fast - that is why Van Dycke has three races to prove he's worth staying, Marie could be faster than him.
No hard feelings indeed, it's revenge because I was being too good with others in the past two years - time to take things into my own hands, or else it's the preq chamber for another year. We'll see, but I still think that improvement will be needed.

(goes off to buy waffles for the first preq)

Break out the publicocrapometer!

Cameron optimistic ahead of 'fresh start'

Prospec team principal Gary Cameron has spoken to the media for the first time since the beginning of pre-season testing for the 2015 F1RWRS season. The two-time F1RWRS race winner said the new year represented a new beginning for the team, who endured their worst ever season in 2014 scoring only one point.

"We have an all-new driver lineup, a new chassis, a new engine partnership, we've got new sponsors on board in the shape of SwiftCover.com and Mr Muscle, so in every way it feels like a fresh start for us," Cameron told an Autosport journalist this week. "We've also changed our chassis designation to mark the changeover to Pemberton ownership that happened this time last year. Last year's car kept the PRS designation because it was an evolution from the previous year, but this year's car will be the PPR-02 because it's the second year of Pemberton Prospec Racing. This is a sign of what is very much a new beginning for us."

Asked about his expectations for the season ahead, Cameron was careful not to appear too bullish, but said, "We don't want to be in pre-qualifying at all this season if we can help it - we're a little bit lucky not to have to pre-qualify at Adelaide because it will be really competitive with the likes of Kingfisher and Tropico making big steps forward. The key aim for Adelaide is to get ourselves on the grid, and once we see where we are we can re-evaluate our plans for the rest of the year. It wasn't ideal losing so much running for Kay at the first test but nevertheless we've definitely made a big step forward and we're targeting regular points this year, and maybe, with a following wind in a race of attrition, the podium might not be out of reach."
