I forgot to ask, what country is your team from?
Anyway, I have set your team in the Pepsi colours, a blue jersey with red sleaves, I hope this is close enough.
As for the riders I used Random.org to determine the stats and then added my opinion as to what the rider would be best suited for. I am also assuming you wish to enter in to the Basque Tour.

I'd like to make some changes to Cycling Circus squad.
Zsolt Gaumbartner is sidelined and Åbjørn Langerud, 20, of Faroe Islands, will take his place. Time Trial, Acceleration and Sprint are his cup of tea.
Tomas Knutsen retires at age 46, with Ukrainian Leon Zlobin, 29, steps into his shoes. Mountain, Endurance and Resistance are his primary skills.
Other than that, everything stays like in previous rounds :)

Jermaine D'Alberto wins the opening stage of GP al Pais Vasco!
The Foster's rider led home fellow Belgian rider Raphael le Clerq (APB), Japanese rider Sid Hatayuki (PCR) and a gaggle of other riders totaling 33.

Image
31 of the lead group spent the entire race distance together whilst last years Tour de France winner, Yevegni Yurkov and CBR's Uno Sandberg attempted a breakaway mid distance, they were caught but managed to hold on to the back of the pack. The other rider to break was NSA's David Clarkson, he lost 2 minutes on the leaders.

Image
6 teams managed to get at least 3 riders home in the lead group to share a joint lead, though the stage "victory" has been awarded to Hitachi!
This time you will be glad to know Hitachi did their fair share of pulling at the front! Lansvale had a horrible stage and ended up with 5 of their riders in the bottom 10, the team is already an hour behind the leaders.

Of the 33 riders sharing the lead:
Alitalia have 6 riders
Fosters 5
Hitachi 5
PCR 4
Firehawk 3
Team CIP 3
Tigers 2
Twinings 2
Circus 1
CBR 1
Minardi 1

Stage 2

Image
D'Alberto does it again!

Jermaine D'Alberto becomes the first rider to ever win two stages on the bounce since the competition started after edging out Minardi's Thor Tromsen during a sprint finish.
Stage 2 is the only designated "flat" stage on the tour but a sharp climb towards the end of the stage gave the punchers, most of which were the same top riders from stage 1, a small one minute cushion over the rest of the field.

Image
Alitalia finish a strong 3rd and 4th in the stage with Foster's Daniel Sims completing the top 5.

Image
With little change to the teams leaderboard, the mountain leaderboard is worth a look. Yevegni Yurkov overtakes Uno Sandberg to top the standings whilst a few riders attempted an early break only to be caught and lose a lot of time, with the exception of Abdulrashid and Yurkov, the riders that scored mountain points today were caught and lost an awful lot of time on the field. Despite not fighting for Mountain points today and losing his jersey as a result, Sandberg still lost a minute on the front runners.

He is 3rd in the Mountain points category after battling with Yurkov and Sandberg during stage 1.
On the top of every major climb their is a checkpoint and points are awarded to the first three riders to pass it, normally this is a good measure to see how often and how successfully riders breakaway.
Clarkson is about 2 minutes behind the leaders overall which puts him just inside the top 40 in general classification.

Stage 3. Vitoria-Gasteiz - Eibar-Arrate
Image
Uno Sandberg wins, Yurkov takes overall lead!

Image
Stage 3 was much trickier than the previous stages, though designated a hill stage, the course ended with a very difficult mountain climb so the rewards fell to the hybrid Hill/Mountain climbers. Uno Sandberg managed a final push to give him the stage victory by 10 seconds from a near dead head between Yvegni Yurkov and NSA's Alexey Volkrov. Italian's Lupo and Firenze managed to stay within sight as they rounded up the top 5.

Image
Only 14 riders managed to be within 5 minutes of Sandberg and half of those riders had already lost a lot of time on the previous stages so The Swede moves to 7th. Yurkov has fought for every mountain point so far yet somehow still has the energy to lead overall whilst Firenze and Lupo have marked each other all the way as we reach the half way mark of the tour. The gap between 8th and 9th is larger than the gap between 1st to 8th. It is still early days yet but it seems likely that our ultimate winner will be found among this group. Previous leader D'Alberto has dropped to outside the top 20 after a poor stage.

Image
Foster's may have lost the leaders jersey but they move to the top of the team standings after a good run. Whilst despite taking GC lead, Team CIP have dropped a significant amount of time, but not as much as Hitachi. New team Mabbazana are having a horrible time with no riders anywhere of note, they lost over an hour in time this stage alone!

Stage 4 Eibar - Bera-Ibardin

Image
Superb Senersen's Solo victory!

Image
Preston Senerson, UBC, broke early in the stage along with 3 other riders. One by one they were caught until only Senerson remained. It has been a tough tour for UBC so far and they look unlikly to break the top 10 overall, so this stage victory is a much needed boost. The final Kilometres of this stage were very steep up to mountain level which was highly unforunate for Abdulrashid. The Circus rider was a minute ahead of the field at least, as one of the early break away riders, but in the final few hundred metres dropped to 8th. Klaus Fahrrad managed to gain a little bit of space to take a clear 2nd place ahead of Don Yan of team CIP. Lupo and Firenze continue to be glued together in 4th and 5th.

Image
There was some minor pushing and shoving on the leaderboard but it remains largely unchanged. If things stay this close, the time trial will be intense!

Wizzie wrote:How shite are my clowns at Lansvale doing? And are there any specialist hill riders we can hire?

66 Jean-Marie Van Fiets + 44'08
71 Nicolas Pedersen + 47'39
84 Jizdni Kolo + 50'58
89 Giovanni Bicicletta + 52'10
103 Kang Xian Bin + 55'08
125 Naseef Aqeem + 1h04'33
128 Peter Briggs + 1h07'29
129 Tamak Bisiklet + 1h10'36

So Lansvale are hardly having a brilliant time, however you do have some good time trial riders so you could end up with a good result come stage 6.

Sadly there are no hill climbers you can hire, however there are 2 new riders in the free agent pool:

Zsolt Gaumbartner - Endurance, Sprint, Flat
Tomas Knutsen - DH, FS, Prologue

Though Tomas Knutsen is nearing his fifties.

Stage 5, Bera-Onati
Image
Nasser Abdulrashid dominates!

Image
Circus rider Abdulrashid produced a master class ride to take a huge victory on the final normal stage of the tour.
Once again Firenze and Lupo remain glued togther, this tie Firenze edged out Lupo to take 2nd in the stage and 2nd overall. It will take the time trial to separate them. Daniel Morales and Andy Badger complete the top 5.

Image
Abdulrashid catapults himself to 6th place, he was only just over a minute shy of taking overall lead! If only he had not faulted on the first couple of stages. Less than a minute separating the top 5 as we head to the final time trial, this is an intense time for all riders involved!

Image
Whatever happens in the time trial, Yevegni Yurkov wins the mountain classification by just 4 points from Uno Sandberg. Break out victors Abdulrashid and Senerson are 3rd and 4th whilst consistent mountain challenger Clarkson is 5th.

I apologise for no update yesterday!

Mabazzana have had a tough debut tour so far, none of the riders are particularly suited to hills. The time trial could be better news for the team, with both Vettel and Alonso in with a chance of some points.

Wizzie wrote:I'll hire both of them to bring my total up to 14

54 Daniel Martins + 50'02
86 Stefan Lomassonn + 1h07'34
89 Tomas Wojtyra + 1h08'14

Despite a good overall performance from PCR, only Lupo is in with a shout of a top 10 finish overall.
Sid Hatayuki has been rather underwhelming considering his specialties whilst there have been no mass sprint finishes for Lomassonn this tour.
Daniel Martins might have some luck in the time trial, being the winner of the last one and all, though it is not quite as ideal a time trial as the last one!

Well....
Morales wins stage! Tenpenny wins the tour!

Image
Hitachi rider Daniel Morales rounded off a good tour by taking a 3 second victory from Team CIP's Pedro Mota. Jean Gauthier gives Twinings at least something to take home, a similar story for Bisiklet and LSR in 4th. Whilst Leandro Carabon denies team Firehawk the final points posistion.

Image
9 seconds was the final margin of Tenpenny taking victory after Yevegni Yurkov had an awful time trial run! Tenpenny becomes the first tour winner not to take a top 5 finish during any of the stages instead relying on consistently good results to ultimately take victory. Ricardo Lupo recorded a run 7 seconds faster then Stefano Firenze to take 3rd place in the standings with Fahrrad in 5th. 6th through to 9th managed to remain unchanged but with Daniel Morales's fine victory, he was able to take the points for finishing the tour in 10th, denying Dong Yan.

Image
Stefano Firenze may have slipped from 2nd to 4th, but he did take the points jersey for his consistent form ahead of Lupo and S1 and S2 winner D'Alberto.

Image
The teams championship was not quite as exciting as it has been in previous tours, Fosters held the top spot for the entire duration recording 2 stage wins and beind the only team with 2 riders in the top 10 overall. PCR record a good 2nd place finish as Alitalia have their worst round finish ever, 3rd place!

As a unit our team is the strongest in the World Tour but we lack the kind of superb indiviual performances that is helping other teams win jerseys.
