So a 94 second lap should be 103,4, which wouldn't match Clarkson's time, but for example, a 92 second lap ~ 1:41.2 in 110% - would be there.
This would also give chance for others.

What do you think?

No, I'm getting there now. I didn't realise how crappily I was taking the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th corners. I think I can eke out a high 1:36 now.

Alright. Still I feel there's a need to compensate, I did a 1:32 a few minutes ago, and there's still room for improvement. All on stock tires...

Hmmm. Well, I just did a 1:37.7 now, so you might be right, but I'd wait until we got some more GT4 times in.

Sent in my time now. I could've probably improved by almost a second if I could get my sector bests all stringed into one lap, but I couldn't. So that'll have to do now.

Well, I sent my video link to MinardiFan by email ages ago. But I know from previous experience that the messages sometimes do not reach their recipient.

So, here's my entry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pDPhUeRTQk

Just emailed Minardifan. I lost about a second on the last corner on my best lap, which goes to show how bad my other laps were really...

Has anyone actually got really annoyed when you have failed a licence test and the fail music is mocking you like you're some sort of idiot driver?

I am requesting that the AIDS Ban (except for ABS) to be re-enforced during the next round.

And I'm requesting my GT2 time in Laguna Seca to be multiplied up to at least 105%.

And I'm requesting my GT4 time to be multiplied by 95% due to how incompetent I am.

Still, there is no way I'm 2-3 seconds faster than non-GT2 runners on stock tires.

Here's the results for Round 1... only two weeks too late
Image

You may have noticed a change in the points system - the overall championship will use the current F1 points system, while the series' for each game will use the pre-2003 standings (which I haven't calculated yet).

It'll be a few days until the next round whilst I try and sort out the organisation of this series, it does need a bit of improvement on my end.
This is a cool spot.

See the reasoning behind the multiplier? I was the only GT2 runner, and with this „penalty”, I was suddenly in the field! Thanks for applying it :D
Also, damn, Takagi's time is impressive on the PSP

Yes, about time that the results got posted! Overall, I was pleased that I took the win on my first try. :D

But, man looking at the times, I will have my hands full trying to win back-to-back rounds, the times at the top three were within a second of each other.

Re: Scenario 4-2 Proposal

Post by RealRacingRoots »

Allright, I was talking with BCS on the chat room last night and we thought of an idea for the next scenario.

Scenario 4-2: "Better Motoring"

Track (GT2): Grand Valley East Reverse
Track (GT4): Grand Valley East Reverse
Track (GTP): Grand Valley East Reverse
Track (GT5): Grand Valley East Reverse

Car To Use (GT2): Any Japanese Road Car from 1990-1999
Car To Use (GT4): Any Japanese Road Car from 1990-1999
Car To Use (GTP): Any Japanese Road Car from 1990-1999
Car To Use (GT5): Any Japanese Road Car from 1990-1999

Allowed Tuning (GT2): Clutch + Flywheel
Allowed Tuning (GT4): Sport Hard Tires/Clutch + Flywheel
Allowed Tuning (GTP): Sport Hard Tires/Clutch + Flywheel
Allowed Tuning (GT5): Sport Hard Tires/Clutch + Flywheel

Other conditions: The Nissan R390 Road Car and GT-One Road Cars are BANNED. The Ban on TCS and STM is being enforced.

Help figuring out the potential time multiplyer for GT2 would be appreciated, of course this will also require MinardiFan's approval to become the second round.

I would like to enter this using GT PSP but may I point out, you can only do the tyres on that game.
