And for those who are interested, the V8 Supercars' official youtube channel is broadcasting the race live from 10:30 tomorrow morning EDST (23:15 GMT as Australia goes into daylight savings time tomorrow). Which just goes to show how laughably behind the times Bernie and co are ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Seriously? It's not that he's trying to convince Dick to switch to Mazda, but that he's trying to do it purely for money ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Even if it didn't get pole, Whincup's lap was better than Davo's in term of sheer quality and on the limit driving

Well, you know, Dick started off in a Holden, believe it or not. But he has been with Ford since about 1973 or so.

That in itself isn't a problem. The problem is this Pickering bloke is clearly doing it out of self-interest only rather than for the good of the team. Not that Ford are doing any better either as they seem to be doing their absolute best for the past five years or so to alienate any team that isn't FPR

And it's not even like FPR have even been able to challenge for wins consistently until this year

Michael Patrizi got a four spot grid penalty for blocking Jason Bright in qualifying (what a rivalry those two are developing
), then appealed the decision. The stewards then gave him five spots ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I'll guarantee you that Patrizi will punt Bright off the track at some point as revenge which leads to an all-out brawl between the pair

That poor start's really costing Frosty now as he and Davy Reynolds are stuck behind the increasingly struggling Slade.

Reid's stopped on track, looked like a SC worthy situation
EDIT: SC deployed and Skaifey's hit the nail on the head; if you can make it through a fuel load without killing the left rear, you're well on your way to winning the race
