http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8y5WJKFgCM I just wanted to post this, because I've never seen Dennis show so much emotion. Skip to the end for his glee.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANNFui-7Ib0The engine that should have ended up in the 1993 Mclaren, rocketing around Hockenheim in a 1990 Lotus. The mighty Mclaren powers past it at 4:50. Epic stuff.

...1990 Mexican GP! With even Life on screen! I know it might have been watched by some of you, but if not, it would be a good watch!

Shouldn't this go to the Reject Youtube Thread? Anyway, great find!

Well, I thought it should deserve a separate topic. You could see AGS, Coloni-Subaru, and Osella all in video format!

Yeah, you're right.
Anyway, it's the moderators' decision.

Surprised Larrousse had to pre-qualify, they were good that year! (They even scored a point in the 2nd half of '89 so thought they would have been safe!). Soopa Agoori going off warming his tyres was really funny though.

I found this video some months ago and posted it in The Reject YouTube Thread, so not exactly a novelty, but...

And Life and Eurobrun. With a Eurobrun topping the timesheets.

minus Onyx, plus Larrousse. Larrousse were there because in 1989, I think they were 15th in the constructors championship. I think 12th to 20th was March, Rial, Ligier, Larrousse, AGS, Osella, Coloni, Zakspeed and Eurobrun. Rial pulling out meant Ligier were out of pre-qualifying.

Not F1 related, but I think it belongs on this thread for some reason. (Unless it's been posted already.)
How ironic it was on the "Castrol Corner" too.

That is rejectworthy, even if it's not Formula One. Holy crap is that shambolic.

I remember watching that one on tv! Crazy stuff, things have come along way even since then.
I used to love the WSB when it was on the BBC. Can't believe they dumped it for MotoGP, why couldn't they run them together, or even just show highlights?

That is quite extraordinary. Definitely a 'What IS Deletraz doing?' moment. Though if Murray had commentated on that he may have had done his vocal cords some serious damage I expect.

I think that it would be something like:
"OOOHHH, OH-OH-OH-OH OHH-OFF, OFF, OFF, OFF, OFF-OFF-OFF!"

The irony is that's really the only time Kevin Lepage has made a mistake. This incident is so legendary that "Lepage" is now an action verb used by NASCAR sim racers, and a friend of mine who races a 4 cylinder hornet in New England has also heard that used as an action verb.
I have to admit I use "Deletraz" as an action verb as well... such as; "The 64 is Deletrazzing, look out!"

I might as well post this since so many F1 fans have made a big fuss over it. Strange, since it was a rather good fight for first. (But saldy, probably contributed to events that would happen later that year.)
