Still onwards and upwards as we will do just as well in the next race, but without the retirements.
Shinobu Katayama wrote:Oh my god, the car was an absolute dog, the chassis was rubbish, which is not surprising as DPT spent pocket change on the chassis and the Daihatsu engine is about as fast as the engine they use in the Copen. It had a mixture of oversteer and understeer and I think that the car suited Mr Davies style of driving and not mine. If they do not improve the car sharpish then I will leave the team. Yes I did have a long chat with Mr Shizuka and maybe I might spend more time at the Revolution garage if DPT don't pull their finger out.
Rosco Vantini wrote:Oh magnifico, I am very very very 'appy. A podium in my first race, it is a dream. In F2RWRS I only retired twice due to the excellent Falik Arrows prepared car and my chief engineer came with me with the blessing of Prince Falik, if I race like I did last year then maybe I could win the championship. I would like to thank Sammy Jones and Prince Falik for beliving in me and for giving me the chances they did. Sammy also did a fantastic job to get 3rd to put us 2nd in the constructors championship.
Saeed Al Faisal wrote:Well I raced as well as I could and 13th was best I could do, I even got the 13th fastest time, I can only improve and I think points are possible. Well done to Bosevic for his 6th and a point, Arrowtech will improve from last season.
Prince Falik wrote:I am very happy, yes, yes, yes, Rosco did a fantastic job getting a 2nd place and Bosevic should have been 5th but that young idiot driver, Battani tapped him and span him. He should be getting a penalty, The Fox was right to make a noise. Al Faisal did okay, passing was hard but he showed glimses of talent. Next race we need bigger points.

Shinobu Katayama was very vocal in criticising the Sunshine management and the car to a number of journalists, in the Japanese edition, she basically called Joao Lagos a man with a small package. The Tasmanian GP was a race where Katayama would normally be running in the top four, but this race she was running last most of the race. Katayama does have a performance clause in her contract so she may decide to jump before she is pushed. We did ask her directly and she said, "I think racing with [Hagane] Shizuka would be wonderful, the Revolution car would be a challenge rather then a chore that the current pile of bolts the Sunshine car is.", neither Joao Lagos or Hagane Shizuka were available for comment.
