Those two tools at McLaren almost wiped me out on lap 9. WHY didn't McAllister park it if his engine was dying in such a fashion and what was Davies doing? I have to say, I'm impressed with the avoidence job that I had undertake to get past those idiots. 4th place is very valuable indeed.

James Davies wrote:Bathplug you! You try keeping control of the car through a high-speed corner with a face full of engine smoke and oil dumped on to your tyres. Frankly, I'm surprised I held on to it for so long, but with the oil on my tyres, I just couldn't scrub off enough speed to make the corner, and I slid onto the gravel. With gravel and oil, the car was beyond even my considerable talents - I managed to get back on to the racetrack, but the rear tyres gave me absolutely no traction, and I was back on to the grass and beyond hope before I knew it.

...that said, I have to say, I'm very disappointed Rory chose to keep his car on the racing line and impeded my progress as he did - it is obviously a shame his engine died when we were in such a fantastic position as we were. But there is no excuse for doing what he did. It ruined my race as well - I could've finished 4th and bagged 3 more points and put Jordan further behind us, but instead I could only grab 7th. Which sucks. Still, at least we're still ahead of Jordan, hopefully we can put this race behind us and Jordan even further behind us.

Negatives:

Douglas Mann: Mann actually took the lead of the race at the start and held it for until Lap 9. Then everything went to hell. First Zimmer went by, then his teammate went by, then Mann hit a backmarker or something (I didn't really catch what happened) and broke his front wing. Once again. Douglas dropped to the back of the field and made his way up through some nice overtaking maneuvers. I don't understand why he keeps doing this.

Drivers' Championship
1. John Zimmer - 74 (6 wins)
2. Daniel Moreno - 64 (5 wins)
3. Padraig O'Connell - 39
4. Douglas Mann - 33
5. Kazuhiko Takagi - 32 (1 win)
6. Tom Douglas - 15

Douglas Mann wrote:Well, at least I have some ability to stay in the lead. And I believe it was my sister that broke my front wing - it was karma that then led to her engine failure. And again I demonstrate my ability to race through the field. I don't want to have to, but I don't let anything hold me back, Mr Falik, or Walik, whatever my boss calls himself... Still going to try for 3rd in the championship - that's the best that seems realistic, although 5th also seems to be about the worst - still, I am ahead of a race winner this year...

Zimmer will remain at Benetton and Kickert will stay at Sauber.

If Takagi wants to stay at Benetton, he must win one race, unless Zimmer finishes a close second. In which case he gets sacked immediately.

Jorg Scrattenheim is willing to accept the Footwork deal on the condition that he is the number 1 driver.

Sauber plan to retain both of their 1995 drivers

Williams won't decide their drivers until the end of the season.

I said that he had to be the number 1 driver, not the driver in the number 1 car. So therefore if you put him in Rosset's car the contract is invalid . (As Verstappen would of had number 1 driver status despite having the higher car number)

Let's look at the recent qualifying, shall we? The other major DBTMOTY candidate qualified 1.2 seconds slower than his teammate, but with only one car between. Takagi, meanwhile, was 2.3 seconds slower than Zimmer and 6 spots behind, with two Ferraris and a Jordan in between. Explain that one

To be fair, you lot have nothing on Sebastian Gazurek who has combined dead-beatness with some serious muppeteering on the track. How many times has he qualified last this season?
